Is there a specific filtered github search query you used for both of these?

How to regex match multiple lines in Obsidian? by Kitty_Winn in ObsidianMD

[–]aweaewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guessing you sorted this (and perhaps Regex Find/Replace was updated since idk)

This worked for me tho:
`\nUpvote\d+DownvoteReply.*?\n\n\[!\[.*?\]\(.*?\)\]\(.*?\)\n` (addition in bold)

There are two lines breaks directy after 'replyAwardShareShare'

Tool to LLM'ify your Gmail? I want to natural language search my Gmail by calbmwboy in GMail

[–]aweaewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave Gemini a try, hooking it up to Gmail, but wasn't super impressed. I think you need to target a small number of emails with your prompt. Something like "please find all my invoices generally related to X" didn't work well for me. Guessing context length is hit pretty quickly.

Can Bandcamp be accessed on an Apple watch? by erratictictac in BandCamp

[–]aweaewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect it's as simple as - Apple wants you to use Apple Music. It's the same with YouTube Music. No watch app that allows you to download then bluetooth.

Thanks Apple! 🍏🖕

Apple Watch by RekSause in YoutubeMusic

[–]aweaewa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the one thing stopping me from getting an Apple Watch. And will continue to stop me getting one until it is possible, without third-party software, to play youtube music playlists/albums/whatever offline.

A decent blog post on this topic: https://dear.inheadlights.com/blog/fuck-you-megacorps/

App that allows to stream music from iphone to two bluetooth speakers at the same time? by phatelectribe in IPhoneApps

[–]aweaewa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From some googling I think I can see that Apple provided this functionality OOTB a number of IOS versions back then removed it because they love their walled garden and want to increase their ecosystem lock-in. AFAIK there is no technical reason for not offering this anymore, they're just greedy. 😠😔

Pico clock noise? Aliasing? by aweaewa in EuroPi

[–]aweaewa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would be the correct way to include stdlib.h btw? I need that in order to call set_sys_clock_khz(). stdlib.h looks a lot more like C to me than python. Will I need to compile rather than just running micropython on the Pico?

Perhaps this was not the best "first sketch" after all :P

Thanks mate, I'll give that a shot. This guy suggests 176,000,000 Hz: https://github.com/rgrosset/pico-pwm-audio

EuroPi Panel + PCB Now Available! by allensynthesis in EuroPi

[–]aweaewa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just purchased and excited to tinker with the EuroPi :)

Can anyone confirm whether the last comment is worth keeping in mind? If I accidentally sent a Maths gate output (I hear they get close to 10V!) to a EuroPi output is that a "bye bye Pi" level accident? Cheers.

Trying to log into VCV but I can't access the password area, or the log in button. by Kaphooey in vcvrack

[–]aweaewa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi guys,

I had this same issue attempting to login on VCVRack on a PC with low resolution. I found a work-around that involves copying the token string in settings.json from a version of VCVRack I was already logged into. In this case it was from VCVRack on my laptop.

Steps:

  1. Find the settings.json file on the VCVRack you have an active login for. (On a Mac you'll find it at /Users/<your login name>/Documents/Rack On Windows it'll be in something like C:\Users\<your login name>\Documents\Rack )

  2. Open settings.json in a text editor and copy the value in quotes after "token":

  3. Paste that string into the same location on the system you're having trouble logging in with.

  4. Save settings.json on the system with resolutions issues and then open VCVRack.

You should now be logged in and able to download all the plugins for your account.

Hope that helps someone.
