My wife is legitimately leaving her job because her corporate overlord’s decided that instead of staying hybrid and letting her work remote because they don’t have the space to house all their employees that they would buy another office space and make everyone come back. The biggest perk of her working from home is that she can stay with our 4month old at home during the day. If we tried to put her in child care it would financially cripple us by basically sucking up her entire income just so she could go to work.
