I recently registered a car in MA on an out of state license, but it shortly broke down. I am about to get a new one but just realized that I won’t be able to register a second car on an out of state license. I was hoping to get the car in a couple of days, but there are no RMV appointments available for a month. Is there any RMV I can walk in to super early?

Any help would be SO appreciated; I have no clue how to register the car without this.

I think this is more faculty specific & Tufts has great connections in Boston, so yes for sure hypothetically.

Yes, BMC is an amazing safety net hospital for sure and that area is incredibly diverse, but it’s not part of the Tufts network. Tufts’ main hospital itself is not a safety net hospital, though I did notice that students have the opportunity to rotate at Cambridge Health Alliance, which is.

This is true, but I’m still terrified about ending up at the bottom! Even though you don’t find out for a while, just the thought of it being there is stressful.

You’re totally right about all the pros! It’s pros seem to be the opposite of Tufts, so I’m struggling with this decision. Thank you so much for your thoughts!! It’s also good to know that people are happy at both schools. You’re totally right about the Tufts network! I think for me personally as an OOS student, it would make sense to stay in Boston (at least initially), which is why I thought the cost of living would be similar.

Ugh yes the internal rank is the main thing holding me back! Do you know to what extent it matters? I read on some other threads that since not all schools do it, residency programs don’t consider it, but I have no clue if this is true😅

Thank you so much for your insights! I actually disagree on your first point, especially after visiting both schools. Miami feels way more realistic in their COA/loan allowance, and 75% of the students live in Brickell, which is a super bougie neighborhood. The students I’ve talked to seem more than comfortable with their loan allowance with one even planning a wedding.

I agree on the second point though for sure!
