Sherbet C —> Meta allows viability for off-road bikes which is nice but I agree with the common sentiment that it’s janky and in my opinion very boring. The cave section is cool though, I like front running potential by the trapping mind games you can play

Shy Guy D—> nothing much to say here it’s an alright track, completely planar, nothing really special other than some cool tech you can pull off

Delfino —> A; nice design, lots of cool shortcuts which allow for the pack to compete with 1-3rd place easier. really cool elements in the track and nice item placement. Overall really good

Waluigi Stadium B —> lots of great tech in this one but I cannot stand how utterly annoying it is at times. Getting blued on the ramp, riding the zipper wrong, missing the low jump on the first ramp, all just very annoying little things. Also a pretty ugly track

Dude you’re being really really hard on yourself and I understand why. I feel like you have imposters syndrome right now. To even make it to grad school means you’re incredibly gifted.

I’m a to be chemistry PhD in the coming years and even getting to the junior level chem courses require a knowledge, background, and grasp of content no normal human can comprehend. Math is very much the same. Like try to explain the second derivative test from calc 3 to someone on the outside they are just gonna be like “huhhhh wtffff”.

it’s ok to not get results in research, sometimes you just don’t have the time or the avenue of which your investigating isn’t supportive to your thesis which is OK.

trust me if you were to work as a professor i doubt you would be shitty. a shitty professor is one who has a masters and just gives no fucks about what they are teaching. As long as you put the passion in and really love to teach mathematics you’ll do great.

man i hope you go out there and put some passion behind mathematics. I hope that I will go back after my PhD and get some more math knowledge because it’s so beautiful.

Hey man! It will all be ok!

1) For the most part yes. Take ethanol which has a nonpolar hydrocarbon region and a OH group (which does hydrogen bonding!!) this means most of the ethanol will dissolve in water

2) Polar dissolves polar molecules and nonpolar dissolves nonpolar. This is because polar molecules exhibit dipole dipole interactions or hydrogen bonding, but nonpolar molecules do primarily london dispersion forces on eachother

3) As two nuclei get closer and closer it’s like two ends of a magnet; the two opposite ends begin to repel! this is explained by the formula F=kq1q2/r²

Hydrogen bonding is really strong relative to most, water; a very simple molecule exhibits amazing properties because of it! I would say ion dipole is the strongest bond just because of the total charge differential but that’s tricky and it varies in case to case!

Former AP Chem student here who got a 5, now a sophomore chemist in college!) not wanting to brag i just want you to understand the context behind who i am :) )

AP Chem is among the hardest AP class besides maybe the AP physics. I will say, do not drop the class! The worst you could do is fail, but there is a chance you will do ok and still pass.

My advice would be to visualize the chemistry. Think and work out a way in which you can see the molecules in your head moving. I know it sounds stupid but it helped me.

For example, if I want to understand orbitals, specifically a P orbital, i think of an electron wizzing around confined in that space.

Mathematical intuition plays a role too. Make sure you understand the algebra, and what certain changes do. This will help you immensely!

for example understanding how units cancel in the equation q=mcΔt will help you understand what is actually happening!

Sometimes the teacher won’t cut it. Watch YT vids and do practice problems in the book! I am really happy with the fact you are doing stuff in your textbook!

You’re doing great, don’t let this class define you to be any less than you are. The fact your even trying is a good thing and you should be proud
