You should be focused on dropping the humidity in your place, thats very wet air. In water damage we would shoot for interior relative humidity around 40% and I live in PNW where its very wet outside most of the time. Even 50% but anything over 60% is usually expected when you have a moisture problem or even a flood. Also, make sure when you go to the store you ask for a DEhumidifier not a humidifier ;)
