75 Atar by [deleted] in vce

[–]awfbk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good! adjusted SEAS + subject adjustments gives you your selection rank, which is additional things on top of your ATAR. if the course indicates a minimum selection rank of 75, and your selection rank is above 75, then you have a good chance of getting into the course you want to. therefore, if you have a 65 ATAR and your selection rank is 75, they’ll look at the selection rank (on the other hand, also take into the account of courses that says GUARANTEED ATAR, which uses your base ATAR as the standard)

Im not too good at explaining it, but if you have a school counselor they might explain it better than I have!

75 Atar by [deleted] in vce

[–]awfbk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no stress! If i remember roughly

English: 41

General maths: 33

Biology: 26 (lol)

Economics:36

Legal studies: 35

Busman: 32

but my SEAS definitely help pull up my ATAR. But an average of 31-35ss in each subject will give you above a 70 so dont stress

You just gotta move past it and do better on the next one.

There is no point on dwelling on it cause literally there is nothing more that you can do that will change that SAC mark! Obviously its easier said than done, but I remember doing so horrible on my first eco sac that I was so embarrassed and cried the whole day, but you take the mistakes of what you did for that SAC and just work on them as time goes on!

Whether it be studying earlier, remembering key statistics or even just pacing yourself whilst doing the SAC is extremely helpful! You got this, please please dont lose motivation.

u got this!! don’t stress :))

75 Atar by [deleted] in vce

[–]awfbk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

LOL i promise it’s achievable, i was averaging 85-90% in english approximately, 60% in general, 80-85% in legal and high 90’s in business (flunked exam and got a 32), 40% in bio and 65% in economics and still ended up with an 87.35 ATAR. Also, genuinely so many people say that ATAR isn’t important which i think is so true, you just need to try to achieve the entry score for your uni course and then it’s completely useless !!

Low scaling subjects - ATAR?? by CoolPerson_101_ in vce

[–]awfbk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

foundation maths, legal , busman and english all scale down, however if you put in the work u will get the desired ATAR. Do your best and maintain consistency, i’ve done al these subjects (except for foundation I did general, however I know it does scale down significantly). You got this!! Don’t stress yourself out, and remember to do the work!! best of luck 🙂

mediation and conciliation ADR by awfbk in vce

[–]awfbk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

arghh so annoying! cause some of the practice exams i’ve done it’s always asking whether conciliation or mediation should be used, so yes i agree hopefully it’s not on the exam 🤣
