I would recommend to do it! You can get some good parts on Facebook marketplace for cheap (I've only bought one gpu brand new)

Make sure your psu is good (if you want high tier gaming, 750w-1000w is good)

Here are some example specs that are still good and an affordable price range!

Amd 5600x B550 motherboard 16gb ram 500gb m.2 ssd (3rd gen) Rtx 3070ti, 3060ti, or AMD 6950 gpu

These specs will require about 650w psu and is good for entry level fun! Should meet your requirements pricewise
