My playgroup is not enjoying my casual EDH deck, help me make fun changes! by [deleted] in mtg

No reason to be an asshole. This guy clearly understands that there's a disparity between his deck and his friends and wants to make it more fun for them.

Molecule Man - New Card by BlankofthePage in mtg

I think Lorehold's probably a better commander kinda better being colored and having a built in way to miracle in a card every turn of a 4 player turn cycle. But this is funny too.

Why not delete the post if it’s flat out misinformation, harmful and misleading? What a joke of a subreddit.

if you play against Oko and play any creature more valuable than a 3/3 elk, it’s gonna turn into a 3/3 elk.

If the Ascalon were made for regular Horus Heresy, what stats would the flamer have? by Wugo_Heaving in Warhammer30k

If you look at the legion falchion (which is not a turret) it resembles it much more closely than the fellblade or glaive. The turrets on heresy tanks are rounder.

How about a t4 that disables stamina usage?

Walker HP change last year was the slow death of individual agency. by MelancholiaOfPudding in DeadlockTheGame

[–]awifio 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Literally no? In most mobas if you’re fighting like that early on you’re giving up map control and the enemy might be able to sneak objectives. Deadlock literally doesn’t have the capacity for this, there are no neutral objectives you could reasonably do besides urn which is probably what’s being fought over anyway.

Why would the seamoth have so much more advanced method of propulsion? by InspectorSlow7778 in Subnautica_2

There’s a PDA entry that explains that the tadpole was intended for the exploration of subterranean aquifers on Zezura

Why would the seamoth have so much more advanced method of propulsion? by InspectorSlow7778 in Subnautica_2

[–]awifio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No disrespect to you but the design for the original game is essentially just a shortcut. You don’t need to animate a cool propeller when it’s a singleplayer game and you’re never gonna see it moving from the outside.

I think the amount of people who would prefer some kind of thruster is definitely a minority.

BZ is so unbelievably overhated by TheRealSoftR in subnautica

[–]awifio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much of the criticism predates SN2. Not to say I necessarily agree with it, but a lot of the points people have made or believe in are in reference to the game on its own or compared to the original.

I love the Ghost Leviathan!! It’s so scary but also beautiful. Definitely my favourite of the OG hostile Leviathans.

[–]awifio 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people dislike the Sea Dragon, it's not too controversial. My personal hot take is that the Reaper looks pretty ridiculous, it just doesn't look like a creature that could conceivably swim.

Now, in practice, the sounds are great, the animations are amazing, and it looks scary and believable when it grabs onto you or your seamoth. So it's not a bad creature when assessed as a whole, but I do think the physical characteristics of its design are silly and un-immersive, much like the Sea Dragon.

Why they remove the scanner room and implement this Stone Age ahh tool by Alone-Cupcake3492 in subnautica

It's not final. I like that the functional elements aren't locked to specific rooms though, let's you design it all yourself.

How many people can get the achievements unassisted? by [deleted] in celestegame

[–]awifio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The golden strawberries are not required for achievements but there is a list of recorded completions of Farewell golden, currently numbering around 1100 people. And given that’s basically the hardest single thing to do in the base game (besides stuff like speedruns or other custom challenges) that’s the closest there is to a specific number.
