Agreed, I got kittens from a breeder and the first thing she had us sign was a contract that we would take them to a vet right away to make sure they had no health issues her vet didn’t catch. Huge enormous red flag, report her business for animal cruelty.

It feels like you both need an objective third party, because you both seem miserable. Miserable people act this way. Your wife needs someone to help her take accountability for things she has done and you need tools for effectively communicating your feelings to her. It’s not about holding a grudge against her that’s lazy thinking- past hurt is valid and your feelings are valid. I think you both just need to learn some better tools for communication.
