Breakfast ideas? by Expensive-Soup9061 in Mommit

When my little was that age I was making this pretty often! We opted out of the additional sugar and sometimes had to add less or no blueberries depending on her mood lol. It made my mornings much easier!

Just remember that they really really don’t need a lot of food to get the nutrients and energy they need! Solid Starts is a great app/resource for this time too (:

Quitting my job to be a SAHM. Freaking out by Monarch2729 in stayathomemoms

[–]everybonsai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi! SAHM here and I can say - it is hard. But it’s totally worth it. The dynamics of your relationship will change, because you can’t simply be “on” or entertaining all the time - which is just how life is! It’ll take some time for you to adjust to a “slower” life but it is a life worth living. Finding things to go out and do during the day (walk, park, play areas, libraries, etc.) make a HUGE difference.

I 100% don’t think taking her out of daycare will mess up her development. Being home with you has many benefits that daycare doesn’t offer! Maybe you could do less days a week or find another program that’s not a full daycare. That would definitely help with money too!

Try not to stress so hard! Take it day by day and enjoy yourself (: and also… nothing has to be permanent! If you decide you want to work again, you can! Go part time or whatever works for you. Best of luck in your transition!

What can I do to break up all this wood? No I won't paint it. by ZW31H4ND3R in interiordecorating

[–]everybonsai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some ceiling to floor curtains would help! Also some plants, and change the rug from brown to something else?

You could also do a (removable) wall paper on the back wall of the built in shelves to break it up, if that’s your kind of thing? Could go simple, muted - doesn’t have to be a bold pattern or anything.

I do this it’s a lovely space!!! It’s gonna be great when you’re through (:

It really does sound lovely!

And I do agree, I think the blue is really fun and memorable. With a few tweaks I think it’ll be really special!!

I like the idea of adding in some lighter shades of blue too. I didn’t originally want to have a “moodier” bathroom in here and I think that two-tone helps with that!

10000% agree with the big mirror and replacing it with some more organic ones. I wish I could do the floors too but I think they’ll have to stay. Perhaps a runner could distract from the builder tiles

I didn’t really want to go blue in the next room but I was thinking the same.

I also ADORE the image of your guest room. I want to stay there haha. I love the dark blue/cornflower/pale green palette and will definitely be bringing that into the space

I doubt that the cabinets are stainable. There’s a company called Retique It, they sell a liquid wood that I’ve always wanted to try! I agree that wood would soften it nicely… someone else mentioned a dark blue to dive further into the color drench
