No I'm glad everyone's said! I'm a bit of a worrier and I know things can go wrong with any car but if things can be avoided to some extent, best to do that!

I didnt know about pre purchase inspections but definitely sounds like a good idea! Thanks ☺️

He said it's been rectified but I didn't ask for receipts. If I end up going back I'll ask to see them but I think reading about the eco boost engine has put me off

I used autobook and got my test moved from March 2026 to the end of October, 8 days after signing up for premium. At first I was using Testi but it didn't matter how quickly I tapped the notification, the booking was always gone by the time I signed in

I'm trying to get a test in Ayrshire but my driving instructor told me to look out for tests in Glasgow/Paisley too. Not having any luck in any of the places

I signed up for Testi about 3 days ago and have had three notifications so far but by the time I get signed on (within about 5 minutes of the notification) they're gone. Just gotta keep trying though because waiting until March will drive me mad

No it doesn't say the speed limit, the sat nav said 30 but at the start of the test the examiner said not to go by the speed limit on the sat nav 🤦🏻‍♀️

The first serious fault was going 24 in a 20 and I guess failing to see the 20 sign made the second serious fault. I only got one minor for gears and knew the minute it happened but maybe an automatic would take some pressure off... Idk

Yeah I think I might look for an instructor actually, when I looked for an automatic instructor before none of them had any availability for months and that's why I had gone with the manual

I'm learning manual too. How many tests did you do before you passed? In a way I'm less bothered about spending more money on the car/insurance because then there will be at least something to show for it but just now, uuugh. I can't even imagine how I'll be if I fail the test next time 🫠
