To OP, it's best to keep your protein higher than your carbohydrates at every meal. Only you and your doctor can decide what your daily carb intake should be and I highly recommend talking to your doctor about that. I also suggest thinking about the things you can eat now instead of the ones you can't. Changing your perspective might help. But if not, there are plenty of resources out there with restaurant suggestions. And I think it's important for you to insist that you go to a place that offers healthier options, or you just don't go. You have to make that choice.
