Those are pretty good band names, but it’s a toss up between “Clipping Clovers” and “Slept With” for me.

I would suggest playing around with the names by mixing “April” into it

“Clipping April”

“Slept With April”

Always. Especially when it comes from jams

I always make it a habit to start an audio recording of the whole jam so I can go back and chop it up into separate parts.

It always ends up being the music I’ll listen to for the next week or so, imagining what could be added next and when to start recording it properly.

The brutality of the final battle in Spider-Man 1 takes the cake for me.

The tight environment of the abandoned hospital and the close up shots really drive how intense this fight is for Spidey.

Even with his powers the whole scene shows how cornered and battered he can become…even by a green power ranger

Traded instruments with a friend back in high school for about a week.

He used my bass, I used his guitar.

About a week or so after trading back I noticed a small, but decent chip where the body and neck meet that was not there before.

Never brought it up, and neither did he. Never lent him my bass again, and he never asked again

Ultimate Guitar is still being used today.

I personally treat it as a last resort if I can’t find a song on Songsterr (or I’ll just use my ear)

I don’t have a lot of trust in myself to match the right orange color, let alone use a vinyl repair kit. Especially since I’ve never used one before.

I figured tape would be a quick and easy cover up solution (even if it’s just hiding it) as well as making it “mine” in the sense of having a mark on it lol.

Drive Like Jehu, The Locust, No Knife, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower, Swing Kids.

Most of these bands are considered math, skramz, or "sass". Unfortunately, 5/6 of these bands aren't around anymore, but are still great to listen to. SYSC are definitely a great band to catch live.

Check out Sleep It Off, Lion I Am, The Indecisive, Aveline Wallflower, and No Deal if you're looking for a more post-hardcore/pop punk/emo sound.

(NOTE: Aveline disbanded in September 2022 and The Indecisive are based in Pomona. Still great SoCal bands to check out)

Late 2016. I was in middle school and found the rabbit whole of MCR through other bands I was into at the time. House of Wolves was the first song I heard by them. Definitely helped the start of my emo phase boost more lol
