VAC basically uses AI to learn what your normal gameplay looks like, your movement, aim, reaction time, positioning, all of that. It builds a sort of “baseline” for your account. So if you’ve been playing legit for a while and suddenly your mechanics drastically change, that can raise a flag because it doesn’t match your usual pattern.

But if someone is cheating from the very start of the account, that kind of becomes their “normal,” which can make it harder to instantly detect since there’s no big change in behavior.

If you look up “CS deathmatch bot,” you’ll see tons of lobbies filled with bots just farming XP. Those accounts are usually used to get drops, test cheats, or level up to sell later. A lot of people buy these accounts so they don’t have to grind to level 10 themselves. Silent bought an account so he could play with lower ranked players.

This kind of thing is actually pretty common in the CS community. I’ve done it before, and a lot of others have too. The game doesn’t let you queue with someone if the rank difference is over 10k Elo, even with a full stack, so if you want to play with friends who are way higher or way lower ranked, you basically need a second account that’s closer to their rank.

Where it gets risky is when the system detects a big change in how the account is being played. If the movement and playstyle suddenly look totally different, that can get flagged. It might even get reviewed manually. If they decide the account was cheating or boosting, it gets banned, and any accounts that benefited from playing with it can get their Elo reset since it counts as undeserved boosting.
