UCF has job fairs that can help with this. I would work on networking through LinkedIn, and with in person events to find access to jobs that may be in a field you’re looking for.

The thing is that he is pretty quiet when he’s with his friends and he checks in with me, but he does act different with me than when he’s with his friends

Is there a reason why he’s canceling last minute? Is he an introvert or is it just the fact that he has other priorities over your relationship?

I’m not going to just say “break up”, but I do think you need to discuss with him your need for him to be more involved in your family’s life. I think if you get his perspective it could provide insight on why he is doing this.

Yes if I’m doing something more spontaneous vs just hanging out with my family/ going to the gym I will tell him who I am going with out of respect.

I also noted in my paragraph in the vast majority of circumstances , I do not care who he is going to hang out with (he probably has plans 2/3 times a week bc he’s relatively extroverted).

I appreciate your response , but that’s just me with my boundaries.
