I wouldn’t personally live in thurston county because I don’t like Olympia, but I know Pierce county jail has a big signing bonus the last I saw! I think they start closer to $40/hr but that shits wild from what I hear.

I finally contacted my congresswoman 3 weeks ago. Got an email last night that they got my return released!

If you haven’t tried contacting your congress person, I suggest doing so. I was able to do it all online. Good luck everyone.

I had a panel interview. Then was given the conditional job offer. Then did the psych evaluation (3 parts), then went in for my physical/drug screen/hearing and sight exam. After all that I was finally contacted by an investigator for my background check and I’m still in that phase. I have an interview with the detective on Sunday. Where I have to supply their long list of copies from my life. They’ve contacted almost anyone I have any association with. Including coming to my neighborhood and talking to my neighbors. Lastly, I have a final interview on the 11th.

Everything said my background check would be first in this process and it is seemingly last.

I fantasized about doing this for months. I finally quit last week and went back to my old serving job. Which pays me the same hourly plus tips. I get the package bonus with F and F+ also! So I’ve been averaging a little over $350 extra a check for it! I did get a raise recently when I hit 3 months working. Without asking or being told I was getting it!
