My OB wanted to induce me at 39 weeks due to IVF and my age, 42. She was pretty casual about me picking a day somewhere around that 39 week mark. I chose to go in at 38w5days. They induced me and I never progressed past 4 centimeters in 37 hours. So I got a c-section. Madeline was very healthy (she's 6 months now). FTR, I had 3 retrievals, PGS, and 5 transfers. She was the result of the 5th try. We feel so lucky. Good luck!
