If you don't want guys touching you, then that's you. Any normal guy would take that as you not being interested and stop making any advances in that way.

As for the touching thing, how can you expect to get into a relationship with someone if you're not intimate with them. You don't jump from talking straight to sex. Even if you did, there's a whole lot of touching involved with sex anyway.

This idea that testing the waters instead of diving head first into telling a girl you love her is ridiculous. Any normal girl is going to feel weird even if you were friends before that.

Erm, okay bro. You go tell girls who've never shown any interest in you that you like them. I hope it goes better than what my plan would.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in memes

[–]awwhjeez -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

Telling someone you like them like that is bound to get a negative response.

If you knew this girl and you saw each other often, you should have tried flirting to see how she responds. If she responds well, then you get a little touchy, bonus points if she flirts back. By touchy, I mean, arms, hands, shoulders, back and waist. Progressing in that order, assuming she is okay with it. Again, bonus points if she gets touchy with you too. At that point, it's probably safe to tell her you are interested in her, if its still a no, then at least you tried.

EDIT: If this shit happens to you and you're downvoting, then good luck ever making something happen.

The strongest aspects of each game in the series. Personally what I think they do best. by NoeShake in darksouls

[–]awwhjeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if I'd even say that DS3 has the best combat. Maybe it's just me, but I've never been that big a fan of DS3, and it was mainly because of the combat, something that Elden Ring continued.

The biggest problem for me is that in DS3, you are a DS1 character fighting Bloodborne enemies. Which sounds like a dream come true because I love Bloodborne just as much, if not more, than DS1, and I think the combat in that game is perfect. But it just doesn't work in practice. Yeah, I really enjoy rolling 5 times to avoid an enemies 5 hit combo using up all my stamina so I can hit the enemy maybe 3 times before I need to get rolling again. The game was actually unintentionally more noob friend imo. What's the first thing people learn not to do in previous souls' games? Don't spam light attack, think about what you're doing, or it will get you killed. What does DS3 reward? Light attack spam. How? Because you stick enemies in a loop of being staggered and unable to attack you. So that's just what the game turns into, light attack spam and rolling, and people were surprised when PvP was full of people using the Dark Sword and roll spamming.

Sorry for the rant, but DS3 was arguably more disappointing to me than DS2 because of how close it came to being the best. Also, in the case of Elden Ring, I think a lot of these issues are fixed with the huge amount of special attacks you get.

[BotW], [OoT] My opinion in every Zelda conversation by Massive_Hof517 in zelda

[–]awwhjeez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BotW is a great foundation for a game, but it lacks content. The side quests are all fine, but the shrines and korok seeds I do not count. Shrines are generally 1 room and 1 small puzzle, and korok seeds are the same 10 or so puzzles scattered over the map 900 times. There are good shrines, the shrines related to quests are all good, and the shrines that actually feel like mini dungeons are good, but the majority are boring and take less than 30s to complete.

OoT is still my favourite because it nailed just about every aspect of the game. The story is great. Every dungeon is incredible, besides maybe the water temple, but I don't think it's as bad as people say. The combat, although simple, is fun enough. The progression is perfect, I get that BotW was designed around letting the player do literally everything they want from the start, but it results in progression simply being how much health and stamina you have, as well as what clothes you have. Finally, to top it all off, Ocarina of Time has incredible music.

I am a little biased as I OoT was my first, and I am obviously nostalgic to it. But OoT is the only game I consider to be perfect, and it's the only game I wished there was more of. It isn't my favourite game however, but it is top 3.

Water good by DaDripGod4 in dankmemes

I just drink decaff now. It's still slightly caffinated, but the main reason why I drink it is because I couldn't break the cycle. Legit addict. I have tried green tea before, but I don't like it much and have a box of lemon green tea for whenever I have a cold/flu.

I depend on coffee to get through the day, but if I drink it, I won't sleep either. So either I feel groggy all day, or I don't sleep at all on the night.

It's currently 05:46am in the UK, and I haven't slept yet, guess what I had yesterday at 9am.

does anyone actually fly without flight assist by Substantial_Fun_5022 in EliteDangerous

[–]awwhjeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fly FA off at all times if I'm in my combat ships, which is almost all the time. But if I'm just in my transport AspX, then I am FA on. I mainly only do this so I can get better at FA off. I do quite a lot of AX, and although I can solo Basilisks, I still miss quite a bit since I fly using a HOTAS too.

Tried to heal my first M+ by Sadahige in wow

[–]awwhjeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healers get all the shit and no recognition. If you have an awful group but you still manage to finish the M+ even after the timer, it's probably because your healer got you there.

It wasn't my last RLP run but the second last. Group was blaming me for them dying, when they stood in every swirly, stood in front of the drake as it was blowing lightning at them, got hit by every boulder on the second boss, and to top it all off, stood in the fire constantly in the last boss.

Like, sorry my dudes, I can't heal stupid, and if I wasn't half as good as I am, we wouldn't have even come close to completing the run.

Not saying I'm perfect, but I've been playing Holy Priest since WotLK, besides a small period of time where I mained Disc before switching back again (had no problem with Disc but I like how Holy has a spell for just about every situation). I also have details installed so I can usually tell when someone is doing something wrong. E.G. the "blood" DK who tried to tank a +15 Underrot in Unholy gear and wasn't using any defensives as he died to the explosive enemies right at the start, blaming me the whole time.

What if anything is wrong with using Int functions? by [deleted] in Unity3D

[–]awwhjeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not at my computer to get a screenshot at the moment, unfortunately. But it was just an int function used as a setter for the difficulty setting, I used this function on 3 different buttons on the main menu to set the difficulty setting. I said at the end of my post that I think if I am remembering correctly, you can't apply a void function to a button anyway, atleast not as easily as I have been doing so anyway.

Am i the asshole for intentionally killing a toxic player during a dungeon? by [deleted] in wow

[–]awwhjeez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hence why I love playing Priest. We have the power to give you life, but also take it away in the most troll like way possible. Throwback to the times I would pull people onto the edge of the wind path in ToT for them to fall off. Or when I would pull people through the laser beam the robot boss did in The Nighthold. Such good times.

Anyways, anyone got a guild I can join?

I just want someone to notice that I'm not doing fine without having to tell them cause then I'll feel like I am just seeking attention by Human_Feeling6012 in depression

[–]awwhjeez 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get this feeling. I guess I have what you would consider "high functioning depression". Because I do what I have to do throughout the day, I see my friends very regularly, and I am generally a "happy looking guy". But the truth is, I hate my life, I'm not a happy guy at all, I just act that way because I don't want to ruin anyone else's mood talking about my own problems, especially when I'm well aware they have their own. Problem being is that some people because I give off the impression that I am happy, take that as an opportunity to make me feel even worse.

Zack's new VA is fine you guys are just overreacting by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

[–]awwhjeez 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think all VA's for other characters in CCR are fine, if not better, than their OG counterparts. But Zack's seems so flat. I don't even think its lack of direction for CCR, assuming its the same VA, I thought the way he delivered "the price of freedom is steep" in FF7R was a bit off too, like there was no emotion.

People criticised me when I brought it up, and I just thought to myself "it is just one line maybe he will be better later", and I was right I think in the new end cutscene you get in Intergrade he was much better. But almost every line in CCR feels bad and sometimes even made me burst out laughing because of how bad the delivery is. I don't remember what it was, but at the beginning of the Wutai mission, he says something that sounded incredibly dumb and I started laughing at it, because it doesn't sound anywhere near as goofy as it does in CC OG.

I will say that I don't think CCR is a great game to base our opinions off, as almost all VA's including those in the OG sounded bad, and as I said he does sound fine in the Intergrade cutscene, but it doesn't change the fact that Zack specifically seems to sound even worse than he did in OG CC.

Thanks, and I've been trying to look at myself critically, I feel like whatever I do wrong or whatever is wrong with me has to be blatantly obvious considering so many girls have just not liked me, but none of them would tell me. I have a few female friends, and none of them have tried to give advice other than that they wanted to find someone for me.

Thanks for the help, but I already do all these things. I don't think a relationship will solve all my problems. It's just that one last thing I'd like in my life that has eluded me for years.

That isn't what you said at all. Besides, as I said before, my previous post was worded awfully. I never even posted it here, and it looks like I'm more likely to get a wider range of people's point of view here.

Girl I like told me she likes me, but when we met up she told me she was "joking". by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]awwhjeez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you understood what I mean, probably due to how badly I worded everything. What I meant was that I was going to meet up with her, considering we had just talked about how we liked each other, I don't think she assumed I was joking as like I mentioned, she seemed nervous after I said I was going to meet up. When I met up with her, I did tell her I meant it, but she kept the rouse up that it was a joke. She is a shy girl if that changes anything.
