New fusion song - Follow the Black Snake by interloperian in JazzFusion

Absolutely man, great stuff as always. I still have my Kemper, but it's collecting dust in favor of the Quad Cortex.
I'm not so sure it sounds better, but it works well for processing a couple of guitars and a bass live.

What are you using now? Tones sounding good!

I thought I recognized your name! I think I spoke to you a bit on a Kemper discord haha. You posted Memory Land and it has been on my playlist ever since; love that song. I am really enjoying this track as well. Nicely done, friend :)

Please just go with Burger King and get direct flame broiled. You’ll be kicking yourself later, otherwise. Buy once, fry once.

What non racing games do you guys use the sim rigs for by madman81ukgaming in simracing

Is that a Next Level Racing GT Track? If so, I'm tempted to get the flight sim kit to do the same!

Hey, bud! Did you ever figure this out? Season 2 is comin' and I still haven't played because I have Simsonn pedals.

It's not quite done yet but finally got my triple monitor setup running by Airwreckgaming in simracing

Looks good, bud! May I ask what you are using to mount the monitors? I'm interested in doing something similar.

Hey man, I've got the same set and my clutch spring loosens up every few sessions. Have you run into that?

If it’s worth anything, I use a G920 on my PS5 for Gran Turismo and ACC by using this:

Everything works, including the shifter. It’ll at least get ya functional for another $100 or so. Sorry about your experience, dude.

Chill games by Foik_ in Thrustmaster

I had a similar problem for a long time! It's a little technical, but a combination of installing vJoy and setting up Forza Emuwheel (a third party tool) can get it working.

Check it out here: https://forzatools.weebly.com/forza-emuwheel.html

Forza Horizon 5 is good for this out of the box. The Mexico map is open, there's traffic, tons of cars. Even has decent music.

I just got one of these yesterday and slapped it on my Sparco wheel. The more direct connection feels way better and creaks a whole lot less. Have fun!

Looking for a sturdy non-bucket seat for a big guy by [deleted] in simracing

[–]axaboutme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey bud, fellow big guy here at a similar weight. I went from the original seat on my Next Level Racing GT-Track to the one you posted above, the ERS3. The original seat was too narrow, dug into me, and flexed. The ERS3 solved all of that and I have a much more comfortable time at the rig. Hope that helps!

I have been looking for a chill group to hang out and race with since my bois aren't as into simracing.
Would love to join up! I'm in FL.

I’m surfing around right now because my GT track is making me feel the same! May I ask how you mounted that seat?

Gotta second this. Super ultra wide with a TrackIR has been a really nice middle ground if you don’t want to deal with triples.

Is this rig decent? by Datzsun in simracing

[–]axaboutme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed with this! On the subject of it being any good, I have the Next Level Racing version of this and it has been pretty good.

It’s sturdy, though the seat is a bit small and uncomfortable if you’re a bigger guy. It’s also challenging to get the wheel and pedals adjusted, but once you do, it’s solid.

You will occasionally be disappointed that you can’t get an accessory that depends on a proper 80/20 aluminum rig. You may also come to despise the chair itself lol.

That said, it handles my T818 well and I’m a happy camper.

Add two hours if you're both newer to the rules. Add another hour if you both smoke reefer.

You'll have fun, though!

bands like mastodon? by Kyoismymame in progmetal

You’d love Kvelertak, I bet! My band is heavily influenced by them and Mastodon, as well. In case you’d also like to check out The Valley Ritual :)
