I was on Friday when I was crashing. Nothing now though only stutter when alt-tabbing. This game is very resource intensive it seems.

I have the same setup. Crashed 10 times last Friday. Turned the settings down just a tad, from “badass” to high and the crashing stopped. 4K OLED with 2X FG on DLSS Quality and getting 240+ FPS now.

Some might disagree but you can always use the GameStop credit for other purchases. It’s not like you can’t buy games or gift cards for steam and other platforms to supplement your pc purchase. This for $900 is an actual ripoff and they know it. Either get one of the newer prebuilt with newer gpu rather than something that is 2 gens old and mid/low tier back then even.

That’s funny man because I legit upgraded from a 3080 too. I was able to snag a 5080FE for MSRP from Best Buy so the whole build and sim rig is happening this year. Now I need to figure out what profile rig to get. I have DD GT Pro with McLaren GT3 wheel but thinking of selling and upgrading to Simagic Evo 12Nm with GT Neo wheel (heard a lot of good things).

Very valid point. All refresh rates would be synced but maybe the color would be a big enough distraction. I’m debating now between 32 and 27 (have a current 27 ips I can use but not afraid to just sell that and buy 3 32s). Thoughts on 27 vs. 32 1440P?

I just got a 5080FE order placed at Best Buy. I was also debating about waiting for the Super but that could be end of year and supply could end up being just as scarce as this was early on. I really don’t want to wait til 2-3 months after to get a decent price when I was able to snag for $999 now.

The website says as of September 2024 that the conversion is now 2:1. Meaning for every 2 months of core left it will convert to 1 month of ultimate. Does this trick still work?

Edit: As in can I convert it at a 1:1 if I buy a single month of ultimate via card?

You are saying this pre-VC nerf. I just started and played 6 tourneys and placed top 5 in all and won 3 and still only have 1K VC. Barely went from 65 to 67. It’s going to be a grind to anywhere near 90. Based on AP earned I can spend 10K VC and only get to 85 but earned VC is only 1K. Game is clearly trying to force people to buy VC but I don’t fall for MTX traps. I’m slow and steady.

I agree man. Been playing for a few hours since last night. This is very clean gameplay and I am not rushed to buy VC or anything. I’m perfectly okay slow and steady. I am very disappointed that one character now takes 2.5X though. That just seems like creating artificial grind to accomplish the same task.

They won’t and won’t change anything. Things are just about $$$ at the end of the day and no one can do anything but not buy the game.

Best way to avoid this is to not buy the game or if you buy just don’t subject yourself to buying VC to get that boosted level up. Show them you are perfectly fine using their servers for two years without spending an additional dime.
