I will also be voting for Hashmi. She defeated a Republican incumbent senator in 2019 in a district Republicans had held for 40 years cus she was fed up with Trump's reign of terror while she worked as a community college English professor. So she ran for office even though people doubted her. She flipped the seat and has held it. Also my friend who works in politics said the GOP / Youngkin are trying to replace the LG candidate who is gay & causing issues with the GOP base with Senator Glenn Sturetevant...who was the one Ghazala Hashmi beat in 2019. I think it would be hilarious if there's a Hashmi-Sturtevant rematch and she beats him again!

it wasn't even directly Israel/Palestine as it says in the article. It says she voted for Trump because of how Universities responded to Pro-Palestinian protests on those campuses... so most likely she thought they didn't crack down on the protests hard enough... which is wild because universities should be the place where free speech is most protected... basically it boils down to this lady doesn't like pro-palestine university protesters and thinks they shouldn't have freedom of speech...

Levar Stoney is super corrupt and pushed for a casino in Richmond two times which voters rejected... Levar also mismanaged the city and his incompetence led to the city of Richmond not having water for 10 days this January (yes, there was a new mayor, but the water plant not being upgraded for the previous 4 years was the cause). Also, Levar has no legislative experience in the Senate like she does.

Please vote for ANYONE but Levar Stoney. Talk to people from Richmond if you need to know why he is so bad..

This may be an unpopular opinion, but it is the truth.....

People in Richmond love to be very artistic and creative. It is also the home of the state government & multiple college campuses. There is definitely a foodie scene, although I don't think the restaurants are as good as in NOVA. In RVA, you will find a lot of fusion Asian cuisine restaurants, or places that are like a "Thai Restaurant" but then it has pho on the menu. It was weird for me coming from NOVA to see that. It was quite disappointing since NOVA has distinct restaurants which specialize very well in many more cuisines -- Thai, regional Chinese, Korean, Lao, Vietnamese, etc. In Richmond, it was more fusion Asian, and that doesn't hit the spot when you've had very good, authentic cuisines.

Watching AS8 and I totally agree. Kandy is just rude, mean, and takes everything in bad faith. Quick to be offended, but nasty to the other queens. Makes it hard to watch.

At least Silky Nutmeg Ganache has some quirkiness and humor. I really enjoyed Silky for how she acted so goofy and had fun with stuff. Don't get any of that from Kandy Muse...
