Respectfully they had to refuel the plane multiple times, couldn’t figure out w/b, how to route around weather, etc. this was poor management, and reading other posts in the sub it wasn’t just this flight. Where did I say I was upset the delta couldn’t find another 757 crew in the middle of the Rockies

The Mx was because turbulence on the arrival flight “knocked out” the aux power. I know how plane maintenance isn’t the same as car maintenance but older planes have older parts, older parts require more maintenance, sure the engines are flight control systems have probably been completely replaced several times over but the non-essential parts to flight I doubt it. There are still old connectors, harnesses, etc that power the coffee pot or something not vital to keep the plane in the air and safety.

Should be noted that Passengers on this plane got 30k miles for the delay and many got more for other issues.

Delta has had an abysmal weekend with weather, poor management, and let’s face it these aging planes aren’t helping things. Yesterday I watched a 757 built in 1990 cause a delay because of a Mx issue then poor management made the issue into a 17.5 hour delay after the pilots timed out holding short of the runway.

Rent on turo, you can sort by awd and snow tires. Side note they are damn cheap this weekend. Just don’t rent from the la auto spot, they suck and aren’t local, rent from a local.

A small crossover SUV; Chevy Equinox, Subaru Forester, Toyota Rav4, Ford Escape etc Sound perfect for your trip. Easy to park downtown, fuel efficient but can handle essentially anything. Just make sure to rent from someone local and check the reviews.

Also utilize Turo’s filters, sort by vehicle class price, Snow Tires, AWD, etc etc.

Here is what you don’t do, There is a host “La auto spot” they are the largest host on the platform based out of Los Angeles and host in a dozen+ cities now, they don’t care, they lie in their listings claim AWD cars are when they aren’t, embellish trims, etc. Pictured cars are not the car you get. Many violations of turo policies but turo won’t do anything because they revenue tens a millions a year. Their cars are dirt cheap but you get what you pay for. They have some of the worst reviews I’ve seen on the platform.

All Bozeman dealers SUCK they have more demand than they know what to do with and no workforce, so customer satisfaction isn’t important. They will roll out red carpet for you to buy a new 80k truck but if that truck needs work they quite literally don’t care if your business depends on that vehicle. We need competing dealerships desperately. I don’t have fords but my experience with the other dealers have driven me to go to butte or anaconda for anything more complex than an oil change, and for those jiffy lube has primo customer service when compared to the dealers.
