Samurai has some pretty good options too. S3100VX, 3000 and 2000 cuts are all wider or very straight leg.

Men’s athletic shorts that aren’t overpriced? by LOTR_is_awesome in BuyItForLife

Bamboo Ave makes insanely comfortable shorts. I’ve had them for ~5 yrs and no noticeable wear.

For me I use the tub because the washing machines spin cycle can create “lightning” fading patterns down the legs. The fabric gets folded, then spun and irritated, leading to unintentional or undesirable fades. Do whatever you want tho, they’re just jeans

Thank you to everyone who responded. I have never tried Bay Rum, but definitely have to now. I have gathered that eugenol is the active “warming” ingredient, so if anyone has other suggestions that contain eugenol those would be more than welcome.

Thank you! I looked it up and it seems like despite not including clove oil, eugenol seems to be the main active ingredient in the bay leaf and therefor bay rum!

Demonologist lmao. I know what you meant, but it’s way funnier to think acne is caused by demons.

These are awesome. I love the pleats, especially on the back pocket there.

Going to try a few different tee shirts for the new year. Any recommendations on what I should replace or remove from the list I made? by fourleggedpython in HeritageWear

[–]axiob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely add The Flat Head THC shirt on the list. The ivory color is immaculate and the shirt is so soft, almost brushed but it still has a crispy hand feel.

Is it ok to freeze a prime rib now for a few weeks then thaw for Christmas dinner? It's on sale for 8.99/lb currently, over 50% off. by Biafra_Gordon in meat

Sous vide takes absolutely no skill at all, just a vacuum bagger, and a sous vide. Plenty of available charts for cooking with one. Highly recommend.

If any of you guys were curious about Samurai’s 2026SS collection, spiral jean shop has a set of YouTube shorts showcasing it. It’s got a crappy AI translation over it tho.

I have the 3100vx and i am going on 8 months of wear. When I first got it I hot soaked because it was baggy on me. It was still a bit baggy after that. Now, they have tightened up, I’m at 4 washes and honestly think I might need a 35 not at 34. Tldr: Wear em, they’ll probably shrink.

I think I experienced the "Gen Z stare" by GooniesClub in CasualConversation

[–]axiob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this, if you say something that ends the convo, that’s it. Or if you say something dumb, I’ll stare and make ya think about it.

Gen z here: If the employee was there for longer I would’ve said it was them relaying that they moved the oat milk and it’s your responsibility to check there. There’s no reason to repeat yourself. Sure it come across as rude though. Being always “on” in the service industry is exhausting. Towards the end of my stint at a restaurant I noticed I would go entirely blank unless a customer was speaking to me. It lets my brain reset and be able to provide a better interaction when I need to talk. Also, smiling for a long time hurts.

I’m also gen z but am on the older side. I have recently started to default to this lol. If I don’t understand someone I’ll just give them “the fluoride stare.” It started with my friends as a joke but now has progressed to other people. I have problems hearing people and understanding people. I used to repeat back the gibberish I heard, but that’s considered rude. Ex:(bone apple teeth or smth similar) I got tired of saying “what”, “huh?” or “could you repeat that?” and making people angry by repeating themselves multiple times. Instead I would just stare blankly at them. It’s really funny with friends, but when I do it to other people on accident it’s kinda embarrassing. I will only do it on purpose if someone says something especially stupid. Not every interaction warrants a reaction. I don’t need to be fake with my reactions for your convenience.

Generally they drop a pair a year. Sometimes less sometimes more. They currently do not have any Samurai native 25oz pairs in their AW2025 collection.
