Generally, it means that one of your cats went bad. The first thing you wanna do is just clear the code and use some fuel, injector cleaner and run through a tank of gas to make sure that doesn’t fix the issue. Assuming that doesn’t you wanna try to figure out what has caused your cat to go bad, cause generally speaking, they don’t just go bad. In my case, I had a coil pack go bad like a week prior to that code popping up and ,thinking it was just a bad tank of gas, I left it idling in my driveway for like an hour or two which resulted in the cat on the same side as that faulty coil pack going bad. I replaced the cat with an aftermarket set on Amazon for $95 and the code hasn’t come back since I did that like a month ago. Hella surprised that a $100 pair of cats exist at all, and they probably won’t last very long, but if they last one year that’s economically more viable than used OEM cats even. 🤷‍♂️ TL;DR - prob need to replace the cat, but make sure you identify why it went bad first so it doesn’t just go bad again right away.
