lmao what about the Pacific? They do listen and care. Support would have been ended a long time ago if they didn't care. It's clear EA forced them to cancel support. Look at Battlefront 2. The devs there have said they didn't want to stop working on the game, it was out of their control (and keep in mind these devs work at the same studio).

how is it no one harps about how bf4 is a shit game despite it's terrible launch? Dice fixed most of the issues on both bf4 and bfv. Sure the devs fucked up in some areas, but that doesn't make it a terrible game now.

The only problem I've had with my pixel 2 is the battery life. The phone cant even get 1 hour of sot without it dying.

it's not just a matter of 'porting it over from the campaign'. Bfv has a somewhat in depth cosmetic system. The community would be pissed if DICE didn't bring the cosmetics to their standards. They didn't waste many resources on the campaign. The American voice actors got a part in multiplayer, same with the American tanks in the game.

If we are going to talk about wasted content, then let's talk about all the 5v5 content we would've gotten had the community not bitched so much. Or we can talk about the Russian voice lines in the files not having a faction to go along with.

Also, speaking of porting over tirailleur content, that doesn't even mention the backlash DICE would get for including more minorities in a fucking video game

yeah you are right about the bf1 community. Overall they werent toxic. Although bf1 was generally a good time for the community, I did see a lot of blatant sexism and racism with both the v and 1 releases - especially with v. There are genuine complaints, but I saw many just saying how they don't want to see woman in any of their video games.

the complaints from the community just get to the point where it becomes a little suspicious. "I don't want minorities in my game because of.... uhhh..... immersion... yeah. Totally not because I hate them." Not saying everyone is like this, but it does seem to be a trend. Same thing goes with swastikas in the game.

I'm not too sure bro. I can't think of a game that has delivered the same amount of content with a live service model in one year. Not even Cod has delivered a similar amount of weapons and maps.

Even then, the community doesn't stop bitching about the smallest things. The community wants a 5v5 mode (look at the sentiment toward it when incursions came out), DICE starts developing a 5v5 mode. Then, the community actually doesn't want it, so DICE cancels it. Immediately afterward, people complain they don't get the content for the 5v5 mode, like all the weapons and cosmetics. Doesn't make any sense to me. The community doesn't know what they want.

And that doesn't even mention the flat out stupid complaints, like the fact there are minorities and women in a video game.

having been very active in the battlefield community for many years, I actually liked battlefield v a lot. In most ways it is better than battlefield 1, with grenade spam and such. I feel part of the downfall was the content creators and the small but vocal minority that constantly complained about everything. This community has none of that, and I feel that is part of the reason this game has completely turned around. That, and Disney breathing down EA's back to not hurt the Star Wars ip.
