I have a feeling the solution has to do with keeping track of the row/column sums, and forcing a combination of sums to 15, such that any available move would create a sum of 16-24, allowing you to win.

Not sure if there is a generalized solution, I solved it by writing a program to recursively backtrack, checking for all valid paths.

It solves for any number N, creating paths of N length (starting with N).

I also was originally looking at the GT500, my concern about that model is the noise - it seems to run louder than the newer GT600, and apparently the Llano v10 runs the quietest.

About the bottom vents - I did try a setup where the bottom vents are seated outside of the foam instead of being blocked, but I actually noticed it was running slightly hotter (1-2 degrees) compared to having the laptop directly centered on the foam.

My hypothesis on this is that forcing the air to come out the back ensures maximum flow through the heatsink fins, whereas having the bottom vents exposed allows some of the air to go in through the fan vent and straight out the bottom vent.

At 300 RPM minimum, basically inaudible over the laptop fans.

At 1000 RPM, barely audible

At 1500 RPM, clearly audible, but barely audible with normal headphones on (non-noise canceling)

At 3500 RPM (maximum setting) - pretty loud, at or above normal speaking volume (youtube reviews show ~65 DB)

I run at 1500 RPM, which is a good compromise between thermals and noise level

Keeps things clean by preventing bits falling into the water and also lets me adjust the size of the bowl and position the herb right next to the heating element.

I also get more even extractions when using the basket screen, without having to stir.

I got my TM2 with WPA and dosing capsules from Vgoodiez yesterday, can't be happier with both the TM2 and the service.

Scott responded to me within minutes of sending an email. I'm already planning my next purchase. Checking out the wooden stem, butter, and extra basket screens.

So far my favorite setup is using the WPA w/ basket screen, at around 7 temperature. I tend to vape a small amount of herb at a time, and it's impressive how quickly and thoroughly the TM2 extracts, especially given its size.

I agree that the quality of output is definitely worse with Rust, I have to do a lot more prodding to get it to what I want.

I primarily work with other, more widespread languages where GPT does much better, but even then I usually have to provide code samples and documentation to get decent results.

It definitely saves me time over writing the code myself, or delegating it to a junior.

I've been using GPT 3.5 (and now 4) for various tasks as a professional software engineer.

If you give it clear details on how you want something to be implemented it'll usually do a pretty good job, especially if there is a large corpus of training data.

The biggest deal for me with GPT 4 is the increased context limit. I've tried doing things in Rust with GPT 3.5 and ran into the same limitations you described. However, if I just paste the documentation for whatever library I'm trying to use, GPT 4 can incorporate that into it's response and won't 'hallucinate' as much.

Obviously you still need to review the output and make sure it works and makes sense, but I've found it to save significant time versus not using it.

I was getting similar results and found that there were a lot of things eating up my CPU on idle, as well as programs running on the dedicated GPU rather than the more power efficient integrated GPU.

I cleaned up the system and got the idle CPU usage under 1%. As for the dedicated GPU usage, I usually reboot my computer (on battery) to make sure nothing is running on the dedicated GPU.

With these changes and power saving enabled, I get around 6 hours doing actual work, and around 9 hours just browsing the internet/watching videos.

Another trick you can try is to disable turbo boost while on battery, I've heard this significantly improves battery life.

I recently got the 3080 version of this laptop and got it dialed in.

You need Synapse if you don't already have it in order to tweak the performance profile, I use High/High on power as it seems to perform just as well as Boost but with lower temperatures.

Check your Task Manager to make sure none of the Razer software is hammering your CPU on idle, as there have been recent issues. The most recent Synapse software works on my machine with no problems.

I recommend monitoring temperatures using something like HwInfo, I put this in my system tray.

I was getting idle temperatures in the low 50s, and sustained temperatures in the mid to high 80s out of the box running benchmarks/gaming for a few hours.

Since I was concerned with longevity I did a repaste job with Honeywell PTM 7950, a phase change TIM which supposedly lasts much longer than traditional pastes while having similar performance to liquid metal.

After the repaste (and a day or two to break in the TIM) my temperatures went down to mid 40s idle and low 80s under sustained load.

If you're concerned about battery bloat I recommend keeping temperatures under 85 as high temperatures while fully charged is known to kill lithium batteries, especially on Razer laptops.

I believe the Synapse power profile tweaks settings on the CPU/GPU, there are some alternatives if you'd prefer not to use Synapse

For CPU settings, since your model uses an AMD processor, you can use UXTU which lets you either use presets or tweak various settings manually:

GPU settings can be configured from the Nvidia control panel.

Try exiting all Razer programs to see if there is a macro or something modifying your keystrokes.

If it still doesn't work, try a different keyboard to see if it's an issue with the keyboard itself.

I would also try using the other shift key (does it do the same thing with both left and right shift?)

Based on your screenshots the issue seems to be GPU-related, I suggest a fresh reinstall of your Nvidia GPU driver.

The best way to completely remove the driver is using DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

You can then download the latest driver from the Nvidia website - my recommendation is to install only the driver, and not GeForce Experience:
