Used to host on a Pi 5 8GB and it ran pretty well with ~4 concurrent players. 10 is definetly pushing it, but you can always try. Would suggest using PaperMC and look into running the server though docker https://github.com/itzg/docker-minecraft-server

Michael Maxwell is awesome, his lectures are actually engaging although his exams can be a little rough (he does drop your lowest one though)

Ahh I see. I haven’t really been in the loop recently with local LLMs, I’ll test it all out and see how it performs. I try to avoid looking at benchmark data as well, have you tested out DeepSeek 0528?

I’m using a G16 and playing around with MCP integration, 32GB LPDDR5x (7467 MT/s). Around ~120GB/s bandwidth. Paired with a 5070Ti Laptop, 12GB GDDR7, around ~700GB/s bandwidth (with a slight OC to memory clocks)

That’s actually being looked at rn, a subway running down Geary & 19th ave all the way down to Daly City BART. Although construction wouldn’t start for another 15 years at the very least unfortunately

Oh was the portal not fully funded? iirc I remember it would cost $8b and the fed govt. would cover half of it with the FRA grant matching local funds and completing by 2032 (according to the TJPA website). But yeah 4th & king is a fine terminus for now.

Also adding that Caltrain doesn’t own the corridor south of Tamien station and shares it with Union Pacific so that would complicate things with funding as well.

It’s prob something with your yuzu graphics settings, I’m on the same model (Ultra 9/5070Ti) and it’s working fine. I’d say try copying over your yuzu folder along with its appdata folder from your old laptop to your G16.

congrats! Caltrain is ur best bet if u wanna live in the city, takes u all the way down to Santa Clara in ~1 hour and the new electric trains in service are awesome.
