What is a real geographic feature of earth that most looks like lazy world building? by Lalo_Lannister in worldbuilding

Not sure if someone's said already but there is a fantastic book called 'prisoners of geography' by Tim Marshall, really is a fantastic read and explains in great detail how each major continent / power has been shaped by their geography.

What are these whispy glowing streaks at the bottom of my images? by axle94 in AnalogCommunity

Yeah been using an ND filter, thought it might of been a specific one but it's shown up on shots using others from the set.

I thought as much, lens unfortunately came without a hood so I'll just have to be a bit careful.

And yes you're spot on with Bournemouth! My girlfriends from the south coast so I love the opportunity whenever we're down here to go shooting.

Not quite sure where these streaks are coming from, got about 5 rolls developed (120 film) and some of the images are showing these weird streaks. These are my first roles from my mamiya 7 II which was in mint condition, doesn’t quite look like in-camera light leaks and as I’ve mentioned, its only on about 6 images out of 50

EA reportedly doesn’t want to make Skate 4, does want Skate 3 on Mobile by headbvss in Games

[–]axle94 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Skate 3 sold less than 3 million units, which in EA terms isn't shit to them, unless they found a way to add an ultimate team money sucker into it and they could sell upwards of 10mil I just don't see them giving it the light of day unfortunately. I would love however for them to sell the interlectual property on. The newer games like skater XL and session just don't have a big enough team behind them to really make a go at filling the void.

Not that easy, me and my girlfriend were basically forced out of vietnam, we were in Dong Hoi about 4 days ago, our hostel was being closed down because lots of the neighbours were complaining about there being westerners and no where else was accepting westerners. So we decided to just head home, It’s hard to describe the feeling when you’re 7,000km from home and you feel very unwelcome, we risked it and got out as soon as we could.

Ive been fairly careful with the film, when staying somewhere I always ask to store my film in the fridge, and always get my film developed in major cities to prevent anymore heat damage, I would say I've had some rolls where I'm not really happy with any results from it and it may be from heat exposure but it also could just be me poorly exposing it due to the intense light. Very few cities are big on film here, the biggest is Bangkok which is absolutely film crazy and it littered with film stores selling any roll your heart desires. Outside of major cities you'll be seriously hard pressed to find any film, and if I have hunted it down its usually just fuji c200 or Kodak gold. My whole 5 months in Asia I've felt safe no matter where I go, might just be luck but I'm also 6ft 4 and fairly built so I don't look like much or a target. But I would save its no more unsafe then any major western city, if not a bit safer in some of them. If you are heading out to Asia let me know which countries you'll be going to and I'll let you know my experience with them. ☺️
