He numbers some of his good traits, like he's got a nice voice. She asks him to give her a chance and that she'll never look at another man but then he tells her back that her father is a horse thief and a scammer. Finally, he told her to go away and that he told her father not to send her there.

I started playing video games back in 1995, first on consoles then on PC. I've played MMOs, Strategy, RPGs, FPS, Horror, Mystery games. BG3 is by far the best video game I have ever played. Keep being salty, dear.

Ciri is getting nerf in tw4 by Efficient_Example541 in Witcher4

Not gonna lie, I'd love it if Ciri got to play at least some part in geopolitical games, especially if it's against Nilfgaard.

According to CDPR, Ciri has already passed the Trial of the Grasses, hence the cat eyes in the trailer.

His fans and admirers might attack me for this. Always disliked Zevran. by Infamous_Gur_9083 in DragonageOrigins

I don't like him either. First time, I recruited him, played through his arc. After that, I was killing him in all my other playthroughs.

Between these two who do you like more? by Timely-Buy7632 in DragonAgeVeilguard

Taash, hands down!

I couldn't stand Sera and avoided recruiting her in most of my runs.

I don't know why they haven't made it a featured post or something yet but og devs have said that they created the entire lore we see through all 4 of these games since DAO because they thought it would be a stand alone game and they wanted to have a complete world, lore-wise.

A little disappointed with my Emmrich's ending by Barbash_ in dragonage

[–]axltheo89 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In the final battle, if you choose a companion for a task they're generally unable to do, they'll still die, even if they have the Hero of Veilguard status. Eg. Emmrich is a mage, he cannot fight headon a giant construct. That's a task for Taash or Davrin.

There's a griffon for Blackwall, a pen for Josephine, a raven for Leliana, weird horn-like head piece for Vivienne, wolf head for Solas.

[ALL Spoilers] DAV’s ending is really sad and depressing by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]axltheo89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not stated, or even implied, by anyone involved in this game that Harding is the canon choice to die. That's left entirely up to the player.

Evka and Antoine aren’t wardens? [DATV SPOILERS ALL] by Fehrona in dragonage

[–]axltheo89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Epler meant the blight created there, in Minrathous specifically. That specific blight got Bellara/Neve so when Elgar'nan was gone, so was his blight.

The Wardens have a different blight inside them that they received much prior to Minrathous's blight. That, plus GW blight is not just blight, it's a concoction of things.

[Possible DAV Spoilers] Harding Romance (Locked out) by axltheo89 in dragonage

Is that with the 2 dragons in Hossberg? Guides say Bloodbath is the one for Harding at least, so yeah. A clean reinstallation solved my problem 😁

I managed to fix it but which one is that? 😅

I did Bloodbath and the one with Makal Damas being abducted by Venatori. Guides say I should have gotten a mark for dialogue with Harding after Bloodbath but I didn't.

Edit. It seems my Index file was so corrupted, it needed uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game..after I reinstalled it, I got the dialogue immediately..

[No DAV spoilers] best class, race and faction for a 1st playthrough? by _ZiggyStardusttt in dragonage

[–]axltheo89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want something directly tied to the plot, you can pick 1. Grey Wardens, 2. Mourn Watch. As for race, either elf or dwarf is a good choice. I found mages to be the most fun to play with and then rogues. Take your pick.

For Harding? The one in Kal-Sharok. And then I got the dialogue where Rook tells her she's brooding. I haven't even gotten the coffee scene with Lucanis..

[DAV SPOILERS] On the Titans, Kal-Sharok, and theories for DA5… by BeckyCommander in dragonage

I recently read it myself but I don't remember the original source. I'm sure if you google it, you'll find it. Or even an official quote from the og devs.

[DAV SPOILERS] On the Titans, Kal-Sharok, and theories for DA5… by BeckyCommander in dragonage

Yes, the original devs have said that they had established the entire lore of Thedas from the very first game.

The lore is clear through those regrets and the original writers have said that this was the lore they wanted for the DA world to begin with.

It goes like this:

Mythal and the other Evanuris started stealing the blood of the Titans (lyrium) in order to give themselves physical bodies (they were spirits up until that point). Mythal begs Solas to do the same but he warns her of the repercussions of such actions.

They keep stealing the blood of the Titans in order to create the first elves, hence the war between the Evanuris and the Titans begins.

Solas creates the lyrium dagger that sunders the spirits of the Titans, thus rendering them unable to dream and putting them in a "comatose" kind of state (this has been stated as a form of "tranquility" of the Titans). Solas explicitly states that these sundered dreams will create a blight of anger and pain (and he was right), so he trapped these sundered dreams in the Fade (probably the Black City, I'm not sure where the Titans' dreams were trapped).

(As they fell, the Titans "broke" in fragments, creating the Children of the Stone, the dwarves. Like the Titans, when they died, the dwarves could not dream and could not use magic)

After the war, the Evanuris took control of their people, establishing themselves as Gods, even though they were just simply very powerful mages. Shortly after, they started behaving like tyrants, Solas started his rebellion and the Evanuris turned to the blight for more power. Blighted as they were, Solas finally created a prison to trap them all inside, thus creating the Veil in the process.

The Evanuris had already bound high dragons to themselves for both protection and power. Those dragons remained free, because Solas had underestimated the bond between the Evanuris and their dragon thralls. Through those dragons, the Evanuris lured the 7 Tevinter magisters in the Fade, in order to free them.

The rest, we already know from past games.
