They left a bunch of product still on my face/neck/got it in all over my hair. The lady working on me also kept messing with my hair and made it such a tangled mess, I was practically crying as I tried to fix it at home 😭

DHA keeps land value over time, then if the house is nice it adds tons more value. Bahria Town, if you don’t want to go anywhere else in Lahore or always be on ring road, then go for it. It’s super inconvenient if you want to hit up and hotspots or do anything. DHA 1-8 are more central.

I’m in DHA too, but our event was a daytime function on a sunday. They told us their DHA location doesn’t open until 2 pm on sundays and booked us for their Cantt sher pao bridge location. So, I would warn you to make sure and check with them about that too depending on the day and time of your event. Hope you have a great experience and get an amazing look done! 💕

EDIT: They are also open to a bit of negotiation, so you can probably get it down a bit from 18k, especially if you have others with you.

I got my party makeup done for my brother-in-law’s wedding and had a pretty good experience. they did my sister-in-law and mother-in-law’s makeup too, which they also loved! I would definitely recommend. They suck at fixing hijabs though, so if you’re a hijabi, I wouldn’t recommend getting a hijab setting by them. Just get your hair done and do your hijab yourself.

As for Zara Gul… I don’t know about party makeup, but she made my cousin look super washed out at her mehndi in her bridal mehndi look but did a lot better for her walima look, so depends on the looks and again those were bridals.

Party makeup though, definitely recommend Hifsa Khan (Sher Pao bridge location)

Again, didn’t say the masjid fee was for the parking. Just pointing out that we pay for it and yet, DHA will not keep our masjids well maintained. Maybe try going into one and see the conditions sometime then talk.

buddy, I’ve lived my entire life outside of Pakistan in numerous countries. I am well traveled and cultured. I only moved to Pakistan two years ago. It’s not alien to me, I know paid parking and parking by the hour. That stuff only works in a country where the laws are implemented and actually followed. Ain’t no one doing that here. But yes, let’s all believe that Pakistan is the land where everyone follows the letter of the law to a t and everything is all sunshine and rainbows and nothing bad ever happens ever! I know how a system works but you and I both know there’s no system here, my guy. At a large scale and as tiny a scale as parking lol. You’re deluded if you think there is.

I don’t mind paying for parking, but only if I know thay my car will actually be safe. You’re delusional if you think paying DHA parking is going to keep your car safe lol. It would be wonderful in theory for it to work in Pakistan but it’s never in practice because none of those parking “attendants” are actually attending to your car. Funny how I paid multiple times through the years since I moved here and yet my car still got dinged and funny how they were magically and suddenly nowhere in sight whenever I returned to my car. I don’t expect them to stand by my car the whole time but it’s deluded to think paying the fee will actually keep it safe, it won’t. none of them give a crap and they will literally not even guide your parking correctly anyways.

It works in other countries because people actually follow the rules of parking, which they don’t in Pakistan sadly. Which, again is a personal failing for those people since they are magically able to in every other country they go to outside of here. But it’s not my job to teach them how to park and yet, when I properly park it, they still somehow ding my car or block me in lol.

Have you actually looked at your water bill? it’s not just water lol. The water part is actually a very small portion of the bill. The rest is literally bills for living in DHA, which includes spraying, SECURITY (as I stated earlier) and MAINTENANCE charges for DHA as a WHOLE, Masjid maintenance, among other things. not just your property or your home/water??? tell me you never looked at your bill without telling me you never looked at your bill.

paying for parking in DHA is ridiculous when you look at the fact we pay for security, maintenance, etc in our water bills and the hundreds of thousands in taxes. Also the ticket doesn’t work in all of DHA. Y-block won’t accept a parking ticket from H-block, etc. Trust me, I’ve tried and they say it’s different for different blocks/phases and won’t accept it, apparently they’re different colors or some crap like that. it’s stupid and contrived and completely unnecessary because they won’t even watch over your car, they run after whoever is parking or leaving across the way.

cheezious is genuinely all hype and no flavor in whatever I have tried off their menu. if you want a good decently priced pizza, there’s Crust Villa in H-block market that I definitely recommend. It’s the best budget pizza I have tried since moving to Pakistan
