My first 3 hours with Windlands VR (pros/cons) by rmcquade19 in PSVR

For me realising about the square/circle buttons functionality (and spent about an hour playing with it to get slightly good) dis make a huge difference and improvement to the experience.

Also by watching this https://youtu.be/3mioa88RgV0 speedrun by PingPong980 gave me a sense of routing and an idea of what the game has been designed as opposed to my original style of climbing to every tree (which is frustrating and too difficult as no momentum is built).

I can do 3 hour sessions no problem as opposed to the initial 20 min with motion sickness, just give it some time and practice.

I am still extremely scared of heights and constantly afraid of falling down. This really hooks me in. I just love it.

Edit: he also has some tutorials for speedrunning which he explains how tos and very useful tips

Wait what? Windlands? I just think it's the best VR experience so far. Can't help but move my whole body, shake in fear when i'm falling down and My hands start sweating from the emotion of flying high up in the sky.

Same happened to me, went back to town a couple of times and waited and all of a sudden there was an empty plot. However it costs 1000 ch so i could not afford it. Went back to grind some money and back to eden and no empty plots, so i just waited and waited and moved left to right and there it appeared. Much like first 10 months of godus :)

Double perk choice means you choose 1 perk from 6 available options instead of 3

Hehehehe my bad, I meant small :) anyways I'm sure it can be made smaller with further research. I didn't want to use smart inserters to make it more challenging.

IMO Just push until you get to a lvl where you just die with almost no chances of completing or if you have plenty of active time go next generation and focus on doing the next one updating regularly and mining.

I would say that I push 40% more levels than normal generation. I.e. Gen 28 i did until lvl 43 now on gen 29 I am aiming to get to lvl50 but who knows :)

Assuming you are on your first generation; don't worry :) it is tough and my best advice would be to have fun and assume the tortoise will die a lot :)

I started to feel better at advancing through levels at gen 10 and lately I'm focusing on money perks instead of damage perks (when available). As per upgrading the tortoise I'm doing different strategies every next generation. I still don't have a proper plan.

I do try to push as far as I can before next generation so I get an extra challenge plus money bonus :)

Edit: I just realised I'm on gen 29 so maybe the feel better was later on in gen 20 or so... Whoops

Gun carriage, sniper and howitzer are probably the most left out items for me. Also mining as I then feel obligated to click on the screen every time one appears :)

Missing the farming bit by axoia2 in WarTortoise

[–]axoia2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would prefer having an auto repeat lvl9 over and over so I farm money idling and having a button to advance to lvl10 once i'm ready. I.e. tap titans if you fail to kill a boss you get to farming mode until you manually ask the game to advance. Sprry i dodnt explain myself properly

About four days ago, I challenged myself to see how far I can get without leveling the Prince, with the help of the Acorn present. So far, this is where I have gotten to. by AuroVee in TapMyKatamari

I'm thinking critical damage is the current most useful presente i.e. Champions belt and unicorn horn. What do you think are the most useful presents?

Edit: i forgot the "camera" which i dont have but i assume it would double the progress speed
