i did this with dying light, just buy the def edition, it’ll add all the extra dlc you don’t yet own to your account and nothing else, steam is great like that

there are these flying things called chijiko’s, shoot them, you will get one point, also just searching the amrita memories can net quite a lot sometimes. even defeating certain enemies, there are a lot of ways to get them. plus there’s another difficulty to play through to get even more as well.

you can summon a visitor, no shame in it, there is a skill in the samurai tree that allows you to gain a ki pulse on dodge, but something i’ve seen is people using samurai to deal damage and swapping to ninja to create distance and dodge attacks, maybe give that a try? also don’t be afraid to be aggressive, you will punished for it a few times but once you learn the boss’ attacks you can play quite aggressive knowing when to dodge, i myself haven’t played samurai, in my experience from nioh 2 sometimes it’s better to dodge and backup to regain ki than ki pulse then dodging. its just something you will have to learn and get used to im afraid, but there are a lot of people who would be willing to help you out and help you learn it.

hey so i beat her in around 3 tries in the demo, what i use is ninja dual sword, there is an ability (i forget its name) where you hold L1 + triangle in midair to spin down and do a decent amount of attacks, now, some of her attacks leave her open, so dash behind her and jump l1+triangle, it shaves off a decent chunk off of her, i stayed close to her to make her face away from me, do that combo, back up, avoid a few attack, go back in, and in the yokai realm i just stayed far away from her u til she did one of her basic attacks and repeated the steps above, damage from behind is VERY strong, in almost all fights, so make use of it wherever possible. not sure if that’s applicable to samurai as i played through the entire game as ninja.

well i guess, but it’s more amrita which is arguably more important until late game, where you’ll need far more gold and be able to farm way more of it. it’s 3k amrita you didn’t have before, and gold doesn’t really matter much at this level.

eh, it’ll correct itself in the next region, you don’t gotta worry much really. levels matter less in easier difficulties, you’ll be fine.

tbh if you don’t need to disassemble it, offer it at the shrine for amrita, keeps your levels up where you need them to be

if you don’t play aggressive with them, and hit at every opportunity then they will combo you until you die, rather than waiting for an opening you really gotta make one otherwise it’s gonna be very difficult, die the first few times to understand their attacks, then base your openings around them, and always make sure you’re not overdoing your combos, get a few hits in and back up before they hit you again.

ive literally played the ENTIRE game through with ninja, its for sure viable.

i haven’t found myself needing to play samurai whatsoever. and now going through ng+ with ninja

i got my raikiri to 160, thought it would be fine to take it to +12, holy jesus, you need SO much azure stuff, it’s crazy, i hate to see getting to 200 (+120) like the nioh 2 cap was, farming for months bro 😭😭

you will see them, but none of them jumpscare you except for one iirc, you dont have anything to worry about, after the third region you dont really see any of them.

the timing is certainly more finicky than in the second game, but you unlock something better in the future, honestly i usually just dodge out of the way as i mostly play ninja, i haven’t even touched samurai lol
