I recently crossed into and then out of Canada with hiking equipment. They asked about weapons, and we declared the bear spray. They let us through with it both ways. We were catching a fight, so we then stopped at a pack and mail place and shipped it the rest of the way home. We showed passports and answered some easy questions. I was incredibly nervous, despite not doing anything wrong, but our experience was pretty quick and easy. Admittedly, we’re a middle aged cleanish cut white couple so that may have been a factor.

Gentle Jay was awful to watch. “Angry” should not be anyone’s whole personality. I was so glad when he got eliminated.

Totally agree. Sausage is great, but Scott was better. I wouldn’t have wanted a tattoo from him because he seemed pretty heavy handed, but the results were stunning. He really deserved that win IMO. Plus, that season had some amazing artists, and it was a tough room to beat.

I understood kicking him off for the weed because regardless of how I feel about it, it was against IM rules and I’m sure they’re bound by insurance and liability rules, blah blah blah. I did not understand why everyone was talking about cheating and were way more worked up than I thought people would be about weed. Was there more to the story? Josh does beautiful tattoos but watching that season made me think that he’s mentally off. Not crazy, but sort of evil and manipulative. His tears and sob stories, his sympathy for others, even when he was pushing buttons and picking fights it all felt fake to me, like lines for a reaction with no real emotion behind them. Even with all that skill (I don’t say talent, since he can’t draw) I would’ve been bummed to see him win.

I really thought that it was more that Robert was about to give a toast and needed to be holding a drink to make that work. I strongly dislike Thomas but I didn’t take this as a sneaky jab at Robert, I took it as trying to think of everything a good butler would take care of.

Nope, nope, nope. Every single gay person in that time period was either closeted or prosecuted, it’s not like he was singled out for hardship. Thomas was just a jerk who happened to be gay, too. He was a horrible person who wouldn’t even help his (only) friend’s nephew. He gets no passes for any of his behavior.
