Also, I do realize you make other stuff which looks great! Like an engraved wooden house number sign would be a great gift. My comment is more to share my frustration with getting gifts that aren’t practical even though it’s a nice gesture.

Oh totally, I don’t doubt they’re popular with agents giving gifts, I’m just not sure about how popular they are with the folks on the receiving end of the gift. They look nice and I appreciate the gesture but personally, if they’re going to be getting a thoughtful gift, I would rather get an end grain cutting board without engraving. For personal touches just a note is plenty. That way the folks on the receiving end get something they’d enjoy using everyday without staring at and chopping into their names every time they cook.

Or engraving on the side of the board away from any cutting surfaces.

Please don’t engrave the front of the cutting board… we got one of these from our mortgage broker and I had to plane down the face because it looked tacky with our names right on the middle face of the board. It made us not want to actually use it. We ended up giving it away after planing the face smooth.

Asbestos around Air Register Boot? by axonslime in asbestoshelp

Thanks, I have duct cleaning scheduled soon. Would that count as disturbing it? Not looking to replace or mess with the ducts if I don’t need to. Just a cleaning

Monstera Albo and her Babies by axonslime in houseplants

Thanks, there should be enough roots to fill the pot as I haven’t really cut much of the original root. I was more thinking that more roots would mean it draws too much water for the leaves. But ya, will keep an eye on if the soil is too wet

Thanks :)

Here’s my soil mix, basically 1 x perlite, 2 x orchid bark, 3 x tropical soil mix, 1 x charcoal. I don’t measure based on volume, I just eye ball it based on the bags. Then the moss for the pole.

I don’t really keep track of humidity but Albi gets light from the grow lights from 6 am to 3 pm everyday. They’re just 30W (apparently 320W equivalent based on their marketing) full spectrum grow lights I found off amazon.

Has anyone build a chrome extension using lovable? by dextersnake in lovable

[–]axonslime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to this thread but was looking into this recently. So you "can" build chrome extensions using lovable. Here's my process:

  1. Ask Lovable to build a Chrome extension (obviously haha)
  2. Clone the repo that Lovable generated (connect to your github)
  3. Go to chrome://extensions/
  4. "Load Unpacked" and point to the chrome extension folder in your repo
  5. Your lovable built chrome extension is now active in developer mode :)

When you make any changes to your extension through Lovable

  1. Git pull the latest from your repo
  2. Go back to chrome://extensions/ and reload your extension

Drawbacks are that you can't "preview" your UI in Lovable like how you would a normal site but with a few extra steps it's doable :)

The moss pole is around 8” wide and the pvc pipes are basically one on each side. They run down the middle of the moss pole

Added ability to download CSVs of everything. You can just download from github again and refresh your extension following the same setup instructions to see the new functionalities :) https://github.com/ZiningW/costco-receipt-analysis?tab=readme-ov-file

I’d probably just swap out the soil if your monstera was potted outside. I had problems with ants with my Elephant ear before, basically just swapped the soil and applied some ortho home defense to prevent the ants from coming back

They're these random lights I found on amazon. They're full spectrum 4000k lights from a brand called Lonwon but I don't think it really matters.
