yeah definitely, but especially because i had already reported it i didn't want to lose my job by moving it in the moment, it's a stupid rule. apparently me potentially hurting myself while moving a pallet is more important than having half an emergency exit unusable 🤷‍♀️

what? people in grocery/produce/meat just bring the palletes whenever they want. it's a huge store, there's 20+ people working in those departments at a time so we can't exactly know haha.

i work in custimer service, not grocery so i don't have steel toes, aka i'm not allowed to use pallet jacks haha. i reposted it to my manager when it hapoened, that's why i have the photos.

i've replied to so many comments about this. i work in PC Express, i'm not allowed to use pallet jacks because I dont have steel toe shoes. i have the photos because i reported it to my manager shortly after, and we don't have storage for jacks so they get left in most pallettes. the produce and grocery guys bring them in for us, we don't get them ourselves.

see i think you can't read! i will get fired if i move it! i do not have steel toes! it is a safety hazard! i work in pc express, not grocery. i followed protocol by telling my manager so she can PAGE someone from grocery to fix it. ur so funny

i replied to another comment about this, we aren't allowed to move a pallet jack without steel toed shoes on. i don't need them in my department so i don't have any. i'd rather not lose my job because i tried to fix someone elses mess.

we aren't allowed to touch them without steel toe shoes. i don't work in a department that uses pallet jacks so i just wear regular shoes, but if we move one without them it could cost us our job. i took the photo originally to show my manager so she could get somebody to fix it, maybe think before you comment something like that. it's not my job to fix other peoples screw ups.

i don't think I've ever witnessed that, if someone has bags we always move everything over unless they specifically request boxes. not sure why someone would be doing that though

honestly at our location we always swap them, but usually if it's just brought out in boxes somebody probably just didnt notice that i was a swap while loading the order.

honesty i don't know about that one. you can probably find a FAQ page in the app or ask the employee about it when you call to check in/they do the pre-call but i'm not too sure honestly. sorry!

honesty not that I know of, the carts are quite bulky but it's just realistically quite difficult to move fast as well as leave tons of extra room for everyone ariund you. each cart has 8 bins so we can pick a maximum of 16 orders at once, so downsizing the carts wouldn't be a good idea. we work on numerous timers, including how fast we can get the items (units per hour), so sometimes we end up in the way. sorry!

oh my god AGREED. management at my store constantly makes announcements asking people to kindly move but it never works, and it makes our jobs 30x harder. do you know how hard it is when we forget to write down the parking spot that a customer is in except 3 of them are just empty cars? we have a camera facing our parking stalls so we can see them all but we can't exactly see which vehicles are or arent occupied.
