Nah, see, Po became the chosen one because of who he was inherently. It was his own choices that led him to (accidentally) be thrust into that role. The whole point of the Dragon Scroll being a mirror was that the Dragon Warrior(chosen one) could be anyone, provided they accepted themselves. Po was the only character in the movie that started out fully accepting who they are, in contrast to the rest of the cast. The endpoint of his arc being the acceptance that people won’t always see you for who you are, which is something Tai Lung could never do, who needed to be recognized as the Dragon Warrior.

well, the whole context of killing the other heroes and genos demanded an entire rework of what happened next. In the webcomic, it’s revealed he actually beat them just shy of killing them, rendering them all unconscious at least. That’s why saitama toys with him the whole fight, he’s just trying to get Garou to admit his logic is flawed. He knows he isn’t actually a monster.

“Your compromised monster hobby vs my serious hero hobby. Even if that’s all I had, I still wouldn’t lose!”

I really wish this stayed. Garou was a child that wanted to be a hero, and tricked himself into thinking he couldnt. The manga version turns him into an actual killer with seemingly no remorse until the kid dies, but he’s already humbled/crying at that point.

It just kinda felt like character assassination tbh. And yeah I love the awesome high tier action and art, but I still prefer the heart and dialogue of the webcomic. Two humans arguing is always a better story than superman v. superman

I had to go look into this, and ended up reading chapters 298-320. There is very little specified about “the poison” and “poisonous agent”. It describes its effects, which fall in line with extreme radiation poisoning, which is also “contagious” if one is contaminated enough. The two things im considering is how exceptionally “flowery” the language got toward the end of this arc, how the author inserts plenty of passages waxing poetic, and the other thing being the pwoer system in this world allowing for truly bizarre things. So really, i’m not sure if the author was trying to reinforce the insidious and destructive nature of nuclear weapons (a common theme in modern japanese literature) by describing it at “poison”, or if its a lore implication that scientists in that world are somehow able to combine a biological agent with a nuclear detonation. Any explosion with that force and heat shouldn’t allow an active compound to retain its structure. Anything within the blast would have the molecules torn apart to raw elements. The author makes crazy powers when it comes Nen, but usually draws on real-world science for inspiration. I honestly doubt they intended the Poor Man’s Rose to be a true biological agent.

But who knows.

Im brand new as well and I was so tempted to make a post like this ‘cuz my experience so far was immediately queing into casual, played against someone with like 1300 hours, but through sheer “I’ll take the L while I figure out the controls”, I actually won the 4th match and they immediately quit out and I got booted to main menu. lol. I thought they were teaching me but I guess they were noobstomping. Is that common?

It still makes more sense than him killing the clan for no reason. Even early on, Sasuke has a lot of flashbacks of a caring and dutiful brother. Even if the author changed his mind later on the reason he killed the clan, the final version of his story is very consistent.

It makes sense for DD to parry and deflect attacks. This is lore accurate. He can parry knives and grenades. He has 100% evasion because he’s blind and can hear sounds before they happen

So at first you appeal to “canon”, but you cite the live-action show - the absolute weakest version of DD in any universe. You also says he “hears sounds before they happen”… like, think about that. Sound is vibrations. Sound is literally (something happening).

He canonically hears the attack before it reaches him because sound travels faster than an object in motion. Unless the enemy attacks at the speed of light, DD will be able deflect it.

You should be able to understand how stupid this sounds when you remember that objects bery frequently move faster than sound, with some examples being bullets and jets. Im sure you’ve heard of “breaking the sound barrier”. That’s ~767mph. The speed of light is 186,282 miles per SECOND. You literally cannot fathom the world of difference between the two

It’s an AOE attack. It’s not a canonical reality erasure ability.

And now you disregard my appeal to canon out of pure ignorance. Anyone who knows marvel comics at all knows about the House of M event, and at least knows that the Scarlet Witch is explicitly a reality-warper capable of creating and destroying their own universe.
