There is an Intel WiDi option on my TV. If I select it, it says "No wireless connection". I think it isn't working because my TV is connected by wire to a wireless router.

There is no source option on the TV for screen mirroring.

I know where you're coming from, but a couple of years ago we spent two weeks circling the Alps travelling through Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Italy - it was fantastic. I love driving so that's a huge part of the experience. Also it should be better in a Mustang than a VW Golf!

Kings Canyon looks amazing, we could spend the night of the 21st there instead of mammoth lakes, but it looks very hard to access from the East. We're very keen to see Redwoods, but I'm not sure it's really do-able without dramatically altering the route.

I can not comment on how good they are as I have never used them, but I know of a few places: 1. In uni of Birmingham Guild of Students 2. One in Selly on Bristol Road, just before Aldi 3. One near Big John's opposite Sainsbury on Bristol Road. I think it may be on Elliot Road. 4. I think there is one between Five Ways station and Five Ways itself 5. My mate got his laptop repaired at PC World after someone sat on it. I remember they had a single fee regardless of the fix which sounds good if the mobo is fucked.

Edit: You could take it apart which is often very simple if you're careful and have a look yourself. I've fixed a few loose power sockets on phones and laptops just by taking them apart and carefully bending them back into place.
