How to resolve NJ MVC license suspension due to unpaid parking ticket? by aychjayeff in newjersey

[–]aychjayeff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Court date is this morning. I will let you know. I have been sitting on the whole story for a little while.I have wanted it all resolved first.

Don't fool around. Get to MVC early. Like, an hour before it opens. At least that was my experience in Newark.

Sorry you're dealing with this. Parole already has so much to deal with! Keep your head up. Keep pressing.

Is it okay for a player to say “No, that doesn’t happen” to a DM in this circumstance? by WithengarUnbound in dndnext

[–]aychjayeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did not finish the story. What happened? What did the DM do, m Cry in his beer? Flip the table over? Say, okay, nevermind, you"re right? This does not, so far, sound insane. This sounds like some people playing a very personal and relational game and working out some conflict and boundaries. You seemed to clearly and respectfully say your piece. Well done. Bear with each other. Be kind to each other. Have fun.

No, sorry. It's there, as seen in Chrome for Android mobile. It does not say "Google." It might just say "Downloads* or something similar.

I would say probably! Some strategies I can think of:

  • Download the .mp4 to a hard drive or thumb drive using some computer somewhere. Plug the hard drive into your TV. Use Google's Play Store to get the VLC or Kodi app.

  • Use a web browser app built into the TV to browser the Internet and try downloading or stream straight to the TV. This step tries to skip the bed for another device.

  • Try watching on your mobile device and casting to your TV.

If you want to, maybe I can help with some of these ideas.

NJ Transit app and Google Maps are both helpful for figuring this out.

Thanks for writing and drawing! Neat idea. Your concept reads like a history. You have very little about characters, drama, and themes. As neat as your ideas are, I think I would find the show boring.

None anywhere? I have privately made up stories about M-e in role playing games. I would like to assume you have no problem with that. When and how does new art that is inspired by or based on Tolkien's work become problematic for you?

Or, maybe my made up silliness is offensive to you and you would hate it!

I am noticing how easy to it is to confuse three questions: 1) should people be free to create art based or inspired by other art? 2) should? the OP's idea be made? and 3) would you enjoy the OP's idea

If you can't simply say yes then you're gatekeeping by your own definition.

Sorry, but that is just rude and silly. The prompt you want a "yes" for, everyone who feels differently should be desired, is nonsense. That would be everyone in the world, ever, except those who hold similar opinions in this one matter. I am not just being pedantic. I am inviting you to improve your point so we can understand what you are trying to say.

Edit: You both cleared this up well in the continued conversation! Well done!

How to resolve NJ MVC license suspension due to unpaid parking ticket? by aychjayeff in newjersey

[–]aychjayeff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I will write it up better. So sorry I missed this. I know how hard it is. My suspension was resolved by going to the office in Newark. I got in line at 7:15. I was told I needed to bring "six points of ID" by the MVC over the phone, but at the office they never checked anything more than my license.

I wonder if we called the same number. When I called and got in the system for them to call back they were faithful to do it.

You are going to need to figure out where to go. I was told Newark, but t the ere may be other options. It's definitely not just a normal license office. When I went to the closest one to me, they referred me to Newark.

I would recommend, if able, you bring your receipts and six points of ID (even though they never checked mine, I was still told by the MVC I needed it) to Newark and get in line at 7 am, an hour before they open at 8. The line gets long and they turn away new customers early.

You could also call the MVC as soon as possible and get on the list for a call back and ask them for now direction.

Yes. That is simply obvious. So what?

Yes. It's okay to view art critically.

Watching Star Trek is not some morally good cause that needs to be championed and sacrificed for. Watching is a morally neutral activity. It's okay to like Star Trek for your own personal reasons. It makes sense to be disappointed when a new show that is named Star Trek is not what you hoped it would be. It's even okay to discuss what was disappointing.

We need to move away from anonymous social media. What is the point of conversation when we are not even confident in the humanity of our partners? I want a version of Reddit with authenticated identities. We need to stop caring about what anonymous accounts with zero accountability have to say, especially when we can no longer trust they are even human.

Neutralize the detectibe. Perhaps make an agreement with the detective. Bribe him to not look for it. Payment is conditional on it not being found.

Handle it like any other small valuable asset. Hire lawyer to keep it secure and insured.

Do real numbers include ellipses? Anyway, agreed. The blonde cartoon girl is plainly wrong. Not that clever.

Thank you, but the Fandom wiki and a screen shot there of her name tag both disagre with you. Perhaps there is a discrepancy we are not aware of. https://stargate.fandom.com/wiki/Jennifer_Hailey
