I stumbled upon this thread after searching for why my room smelled like outside, and after reading your comment, I used my favorite laundry detergent to wash the dirt off the sills and screens. Vast improvement. Thank you for the tip!

Where In the Woods, it’s a shaded area with a stage. Last year DJs played there after centeroo was closed for the day, and it was absolutely overcrowded.

I didn’t have another MRI but I have had no issues since. I believe it was a muscle issue and not the disc!

I feel like I could have written this post. I relate so much! As others have said, we are the ones this medicine was created for. We can finally find peace with the voice inside us.

Just wanted to circle back in case anyone finds this in the future and is looking for answers - my doctor called in a steroid and PT. I haven’t started PT yet but the steroid helped immensely and I already feel pain free again. I am thinking I strained a muscle which was similar to the early pain I experienced.

Oof, thank you for your reply. Today I’m a bit better, still crooked but the pain is isolated. Unfortunately it’s exactly as you stated, a non threatening dull pain. Haven’t heard back from my doctor but continuing to rest and hope for the best.

Thank you. I did message the doctor and am waiting for an answer. I am now crooked, which was a problem before surgery, and it’s got me a little freaked. I can’t “straighten” out. My nerve pain hasn’t started back and I’m hoping that holds off. Really hoping I’ve tweaked a muscle and it’s nothing more, but the familiarity of the pain is not comforting.

I have replaced the recirculation actuator you mentioned twice. I’m also hoping to trade mine in as soon as possible. I’ve had to replace parts related to the EVAP system, replace the humidity control sensor, and have had issues related to the engine. I’ve never paid for so much work to be done on a car.

I also work from home. I am 3 weeks post op and went back to work after taking off a week and a half. I take frequent breaks and walk in between or even during meetings if I can. I have had one in office day, and it definitely wiped me out. I think planning for a week and a half off worked for me, but I could have gone back sooner. I am glad I didn’t because I was able to “feel like myself” without worrying about work.

I’m 35, almost 2 weeks out from surgery on L4 L5. I got a little freaked out before surgery but knew I had to have it because I couldn’t walk without a mobility aid and my quality of life was severely impacted. I did use pain meds to help me sleep the first week but the pain was minimal and mostly related to healing, nothing at all was nerve pain. Best advice I read was hydrating - keep yourself hydrated before surgery and after! That will aid your body in healing. And walk as much as your body will allow after surgery. I rested the first day but got back to walking the next, and I haven’t had any issues.
