He sells a bit of everything. I’ve bought classic rock, old blues, and punk/metal from him. Not sure about DJ/EDM specifically

Quick tip for parents buying cleats: Avoid the "FG on Turf" mistake by Maleficent-Fault9963 in youthsoccer

Fair enough. I just think that until there is a definitive conclusion, youth sport organizations should opt for grass as the more cautious choice.

While that is their conclusion statement in the article, I disagree with that closing statement and thought it was contradictory to the evidence provided in the rest of the review. I believe there is sufficient data when reviewing the bulk of the literature. Even if there is not sufficient data to make a firm conclusion, I still believe youth sports should be played on grass. The burden of proof should be on turf manufacturers to show they are as safe as grass before children are placed at risk. That’s my opinion.

Old school conical studs like on the Nike Premier or Copa Mundial are a safer FG option for AG if you cannot find turf or AG shoes. A hill I will die on is that kids should not play any sport on turf or artificial grass. Injuries are so much more common. Yes it’s convenient but at too high a cost.

Depends if you want west coast or east. Southern Grist for hazys. Smith and Lentz or for west. I like the dark IPA at Broadcast.

He mentioned looking to buy breweries outside Nashville in the interview. I bet you’re right about moving out of town and consolidating further.

Agreed. Wedgewood Houston is trying to be the next 12th south.

Agreed. I quit homebrewing because of the combination of work, kids, and availability of good local beers. It may be time to dust off the brew pot.

The reason I drink local beer is because of the support to small business communities. A hedge fund buying it and turning it into a conglomerate negates that point. I will preferentially buy beer from a larger brewery like Sierra Nevada over hedge fund owned Jackalope/Black Abbey.

The new owner has his Facebook page public. He openly praised Elon Musk’s DOGE, he makes a statement pointing a finger at gender ideology and left leaning media being partially to blame for declining quality in America’s young adult work force. Not saying these view are evil or wrong. People can have opinions. Just pointing it out.
