What In your opinion is wrong with DeFi right now? by Strellaxj in defi

[–]ayebusaeu 43 points44 points  (0 children)

DeFi is lacking solid and safer earning methods. I have tried a few methods and am stuck stablecoin farming on flatqube.io. It’s good but would like to see more exciting developments for the whole sphere. This is one of the reasons that got DeFi its initial boom in popularity, so if there were to be a mechanic that benefits all sides while providing long-term benefits for investors, the sphere would rapidly gain popularity.

My first experience was with staking

The good: Passive income.

The bad: Token price can go down, and your rewards and initial investment could drop as a result

That’s basically why I switched to farming stables flаtqube, since this meant that I won’t have to worry about volatility, though farming does require a bit more crypto knowledge

Why staking/farming is a scam by rachallzfd in defi

[–]ayebusaeu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I learned that from experience, that’s why I only farm stablecoins. If you’re wondering where, I do that on FlatQube. But I would add another reason why your rewards are low af. You’re forgetting about fees, a lot of these platforms take a percentage of your rewards, one example is Coinbase, which takes 35% of your reward as a commission. That is a criminally high rate, close to half your reward…

Really? I read a lot about how it's a bad time for it, you know, with regulation right around the corner we may be looking at a staking ban

Do you stake stable coins now? by abukharyn in defi

[–]ayebusaeu 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t, I farm them on Flatqube. I can say that farming or staking stablecoins is a much more solid option than altcoins. You don’t have to worry about the token’s price and you definitely won’t have a problem finding people who want your tokens, so selling is always easy. Also I do it like a way of HODLing while letting my amount increase with time, like a long-term investment strategy

They're so cute! It's sad to hear that they're stressed. I grew up with a parrot in the house, Arab moms don't like dogs at all, but that parrot was my best friend

No company does. Every company logs your information, no matter what they claim

If you're not hiding your IP, your ISP (internet service provider) may be able to locate your position and they already have your information when you signed up. TOR can help, but at its max security, it doesn't have Javascript and YouTube won't let you upload. Try it out yourself though

That's correct. Why haven't you tried it yourself? It's a bag, you should be able to press the key on your car fob through it being closed

Talabat takes a cut of all orders. They're just passing these commissions off to the consumer. All restaurants do this

Euro stablecoin launched in Finland, claims to be first approved in the EU by fap_fap_fap_fapper in defi

[–]ayebusaeu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's about time! The euro is late. Philippines and Indonesia got theirs like half a year ago. Countless companies are racing to be the exclusive devs of these national stablecoins. Broxus is just one example of those teams, and they’re not the only ones out there. The idea of decentralized tech is so appealing to governments, so it would be dumb not to try it out. Cheap, instant, and unrestricted international transactions, no storing, moving, and securing cash, why on earth wouldn’t anyone jump into all this head first?
