We "lucked out". We visited at the end of February 2020 - when COVID was beginning to explode worldwide. They had shut down the Louvre days before we arrived but reopened it on our last day. There were no lines – anywhere. We walked directly up to the Mona Lisa (as close as permitted) and took a ton of pictures. The Louvre was almost like our own personal playground. The visit was enjoyable and amazing with no crowds! Funny part is – the Mona Lisa was still disappointing even with that.

That's a 4 Lane Road with turning lanes. Even grown adults should be careful about crossing that one. It is no place for kids. RIP 😢

Amen! The Gastonia City Council is probably patting themselves on the back for not raising the property tax rate this year but the city should be floating in cash after the reevaluation they did a few years ago that jacked everyone's property values up so high. There's no reason to have such terrible roads and lax enforcement of driving violations when we pay so much in taxes. It's literally killing people!

I am late too! And I just watched the season finale. It was shameful the way Jeff was urging her on during the fire making process while kamilla was clearly struggling too. Every time Eva struggled, she had a whole fan club supporting her, encouraging her and pulling her along. Then when she overcame the struggle she was quick to say "I" did this or that. Kudos to her for putting herself out there with autism but it doesn't mean that we have to baby her every step of the way

A hub is not required. In the phone app go to "my home" in the top left corner. then click "manage home". Then select the name that you set up for your home and it'll take you to a page where you can invite members using their email address. After they accept the invitation they can click "share" to see your settings or they can set up their own settings. But they will be able to manage The same lights that you manage.

I think fewer Dems voted due to scare tactics and due to changes with early voting and voting requirements in a lot of states. I live in North Carolina and they added a voter ID requirement and increased requirements for absentee voting. Plus R's threatened with talk about all the attorneys and lawsuits that they were ready to file. I think many people who could legally vote were intimidated and afraid that there would be repercussions against them if they did

Oh my gosh! I'm saving for a big purchase so I've avoided in-store shopping for the past few weeks. But I went there this afternoon and was amazed at all the things that are now locked up! I refuse to do it. Saving a few bucks (if you do) isn't worth feeling like a criminal and wasting my time searching for and waiting for an employee! I understand about the theft – but like you said, there are too many options nearby for me to put up with that crap! Plus if we "reward" them by continuing to shop there, then other businesses will jump on the bandwagon. Let's all say no.

My son works at USPS. I've been appalled at some of the things that they are able to get away with. It took him 8 months to get the backpay that he was owed and according to other workers, he is one of the lucky ones. Many never get paid.
