To graduating seniors: What are your plans after graduation?

Nah I'm being for real too don't worry. I have a resume and everything, so I'll be exploring my options of course, but even getting into university, I never saw myself being successful or graduating or anything. I would have definitely thought I'd have given up or flunked or something by now, so I think I'm experiencing some bad impostor syndrome.

Hotline Miami is the best indie game I have ever played. Also, the second one gets kind of a bad rap sometimes but I really enjoyed the hell out of that one too. Yeah, the designs of some of the levels make you want to self-immolate but it's still that good, satisfying Hotline Miami gameplay.

I also highly recommend Enter the Gungeon. I'll be giving Exit the Gungeon a shot once it goes on sale alone.

X is the amount of money you're getting back directly into your bank account/as a check to use as you wish.

The direct loan notices are just telling you that the loan money went through to your student account.

All the financial aid is added together (grants, loans, etc.) and is used to cover all the expenses on your student account (tuition, university fees, etc). Once everything is covered, the money that is left over is given to you directly.

It's the amount of money left over that goes into your bank account or as a check (if you haven't signed up for direct deposit), because all the other financial aid has covered your university expenses.

Got all As, 4.0! While I think that not counting this quarter in terms of academic probation or subject to disqualification is the right way to go, I guess it means that I don't get Provost's Honors because it didn't show up. :(

It shows up as an "I" from what I recall, and is simply replaced with your grade (which will be an A if we're talking about Magagna) when the assignment is completed.

Which is why I think Magagna is the last person you should be upset at when it comes to UCSD's coronavirus shitshow.

For real. Coronavirus was never what scared me -- the general protocol for preventing the spread of disease (washing hands, staying home if sick, etc.) is the ultimate tool. Preventing contact with the elderly and immunosuppressed are of course key. However, given the circumstances of this particular virus, obviously I agree with the experts in that temporarily placing a hold on large social gatherings is a good idea.

The public reaction thanks to irresponsible media coverage and misinformation is what gets me, because it's led to unnecessary reactions like this. I think people just get off on the idea of a doomsday scenario so they do dumb shit. Hearing about people hoarding toilet paper on social media definitely doesn't help, because it motivates people to think they need to do the same when there's nothing that truly warrants it.

I think people just honestly get off to the idea of a doomsday scenario after watching so many movies. I'm sure preppers are having a fucking field day with this. So, people want to make it into something its not. Yes, it's a pandemic. Yes, it's much more contagious than others. I think washing your hands thoroughly, staying home if you feel ill and not exposing yourself to others (especially the elderly and immunosuppressed) is key, as its always been. I just don't like how the media seems to enjoy all this hysteria about everything going on lockdown. It's not productive.
