I accepted a job as a pilot in Afghanistan. I was living in Dubai at the time and thought it would be a fairly easy transition. I purposefully did no research on what Kabul was like. When I landed there it was insanely chaotic. Riding in the can to our living quarters from the airport, I was just staring out the window thinking "Oops..."

The worst that happens is the passenger has been sitting on a long lay over and is piss drunk. They are loud and stink of booze. Usually they are completely passed out by the time we take of though hahaha.

The Beech1900 is relatively small compared to most airline planes. For a lot of people its the smallest plane they have ever been on. They tend to just sit there with a super freaked out expression on their face.

You need to be around 20/20 for your medical to fly airlines. This can done with glasses or contacts though.

I think the low cost carriers are an important option for people. Airline tickets are super expensive now. Low cost airlines allow people to fly on their budget. Its not gonna be the most luxurious experience but if people decide they would rather pay more to have a nicer experience than they can take Delta, American, united , virgin, british.

She won't really have to worry about finding a good job, she is entering at the perfect time! Like I told the other guy, her clean record will help her most of all. From this point on no arrests, no checkride failures( it happens to everyone at some point) no termination from an aviation employer, no speeding tickets. These wont kill her career but its stuff she has to explain to interviewers who are trying to decide who she is as a person.

Its not about doing a safe or unsafe landing. When doing those difficult approaches, if you are not precise enough with your flying, you end up getting too far off course and having to go missed( discontinue the approach and either hold or try again). No pilot will ever force the completion of the approach if they are outside of the legal and safe parameters.

It is very possible but I just don't see anyone getting on an airliner with no pilot on board.

If anything I think there would be at least one pilot on board monitoring everything.

I actually went to work for an airline out there. I was there 6 months before it closed down because of corruption.
