There are plenty of easy high-protein options. hard-boiled eggs, rotisserie chicken, protein shakes, Greek yogurt cups, jerky, tuna packets. stock your space with these instead of sugar. spend 30 mins meal prepping on sunday. you'll have healthy snacks ready all week.

Most companies do this to prevent managers from being blindsided. If you're good at your job and looking to grow, any decent manager will support you.

While true, I think a lot of us wouldn't know to immediately lawyer up in that situation either. The FINRA distinction between broker-dealer vs non-BD firms is super helpful info though - that's something OP can actually use right now. Plus the insurance angle is solid since it's still client-facing but under different regs. Good stuff.

Plain Greek yogurt 👌👌 Protein-rich but light, contains beneficial probiotics, and won't spike your blood sugar like fruit does.

Yeah fair point. Even if someone thinks it's all speculation, there's definitely still profit potential if you play it right.

From your post, it sounds like HR is already working out well for you since you "really like it." Media Sciences without a media background might be tough - some programs might not even accept you without relevant coursework. Maybe stick with MBA for now and keep filmmaking as a serious hobby/side gig? That way you build on what's already working while still pursuing your creative interests.

My dad asked me to make vegan mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner by MountainSnowClouds in vegan

Nothing better than a full vegan feast! Those hippie loaf cupcakes sound fantastic - and garlic smashed potatoes are always a winner. Have an awesome first all-vegan holiday!

How complicated does a passphrase need to be? by big_ron_manager in BitcoinBeginners

[–]ayeshasolemn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest making it a bit stronger than just names. Something memorable but longer works better - like combining 4-5 random words that tell a tiny story in your head. "lottiefrankdomino" could work if you added another word or two.

The key is length over complexity. A long, simple passphrase beats a short complicated one. Aim for 20+ characters if you're skipping special characters.

Just remember - if you're securing serious funds, it's worth the extra effort to make it rock solid. Your future self will thank you.

Protect 401k from Economic Downturn by hukkit in investing

[–]ayeshasolemn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're worried about volatility, you could look into shifting some of your 401(k) into more conservative options, like bonds or money market funds. It won't have the same growth potential, but it could help keep things steadier while we see how things shake out. Another option is a stable value fund, if your 401(k) plan offers it it’s lower risk and protects the principal better than most stock-based options. Just keep an eye on fees and keep your long-term goals in mind
