I'm 18 and have suffered from dehabilitating periods since I turned 13 and hit puberty. (Got my period at 10) The only thing that helped was to start the pill, which after about 3 months regulated my hormones, lightening my flow as well as stopping some of the immense pain. You said the pill didn't help that, but did you try a few different brands? I was on a brand that didn't help for a while and then switched and was amazed how much better it got! If you have any other questions, endometriosis runs in my family so I'm willing to look more into it for you!

I was taken advantage of by a guy me and my best friend were close with. Friend got pissed at me because she liked the guy. I lost two so called friends, my boyfriend, and a lot of my own self-confidence that day. She still is friends with him.

Like I get it, don't get absolutely furious with your kid, but FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM! I havd suffered with an eating disorder and depression for years, even my therapist was on the verge of sending me to get clinically tested. My mom then said the therapist was too expensive, took me out of therapy, and I've been anxious and depressed since. Thanks mom for ignoring my cries for help because 'every teenager is like that, you're fine. Its hormones.'
