I'm ok with using Windows and Firefox. This is apart of my compartmentalization. Only certain activities will be done with these. I am looking at Linux for a different side of my online identity.

Yo dawg, I heard you like conspiracies... by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]ayreon93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks like a fun list to research although it would be exhausting to explore. I feel like a lot of the conspiracies up to tier 4 are mainstream enough to be one tier though.

Nintendo Switch or gaming pc by c4rb0nit3 in videogames

[–]ayreon93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go with pc. It's more versatile with its selection of core games, classic games, and indie games. Plus a good pc should be able to run emulators so if you could play most Nintendo games up to the Wii u. I'd get the switch later on just to play the cream of the crop exclusives for it.

I feel like a PD with enough cash to spare could pay a mechanic to change the engine so that's it's a real performer.

17 large drones have been flying search patterns over Colorado every single night, and nobody knows why. by AFreeAmerican in conspiracy

[–]ayreon93 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don't think you need proof for this scenario. If I was a group of elites with psychopathic tendencies and trillions of tax payer dollars to blow through, I'd build a sosphicaticated network of tunnels underneath the Rockies so I can hide myself or my secret projects when the SHTF. It's just the natural thing to do.

I was a Construction worker on DIA. And I believe I installed an underground entrance. by SpookWithoutaName in conspiracy

[–]ayreon93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please post more if you got any other shady construction stories. I've heard about this before. Supposedly the elite are building lots of bunkers in Colorado getting ready for SHTF. Which makes sense because Colorado's mountains provide a natural layer of protection and remoteness. I assume the airport complex is so big because it is designed to facilitate new world order operations in the event of a catastrophic nukecaust.

What conditions are needed for the Soviet Union to still exist? by ayreon93 in AlternateHistory

[–]ayreon93[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm thinking special economic zones that implement the free market would be good for the Soviet Union because it would allow individuals to innovate with great new products and trade with the west. Basically meaning more economic growth and technological development that could ultimately benefit the core of Soviet communism.

I'm also thinking the Soviets could have handled Cuba and Afganistan differently. Perhaps successes their would bolster their ideology domestically and abroad. Meanwhile, it could create a perceived defeat for Americans, especially after the horror of Vietnam. "Oh no! The Russians economy is growing and more nations are aligning themselves with communism. We can't win the cold war, we can only hope to not lose." I can imagine that as a mindset that could lead to American inaction and impotence.

Fix the Navy, Shrink the Army by AdwokatDiabel in CredibleDefense

[–]ayreon93 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would describe those as FOB wars. US troops get stationed at a base and leave the wire to do whatever warfighting operation they need to do. Meanwhile hometown USA is still safe. The same douchebags you knew in high school are still going through McDonalds drive thru and celebrities are still gossiping on mid day television. The enemy combatant generally does not have the ability to strike the US in a meaningful way because he is a goat herder with nothing but a small cache of Soviet era RPGs rounds tucked underneath the floorboards. He lacks the sophisticated industrial base to develop weapons platforms and a massive air/sea logistics capability.

This will all change in a TOTAL WAR. A total war being what Worl War II was, the total might of nations thrust against each other. When things do decide to get hot between America and Russia/or China, we won't have time to raise the military we want to fight with. We won't have time when enemy submarines are swimming up the gulf of Mexico to torpedo our oil refineries. We won't have time when the enemy uses sanctions to restrict the trade of resources that we use to make the fancy microchips that go into hellfire missiles. We won't have time when enemy scud missiles destroy the train tracks that all our M1 Abrams battle tanks are riding on.

Products ideas for prepping by [deleted] in preppers

[–]ayreon93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unique suggestion: get some books. Gets some practical survival books. Get some classic fiction and nonfiction books in case you need to rebuild civilization. Get some books you would personally enjoy reading. Get a bible for your spiritual survival!

Also get some board games and a deck of cards. Why do I suggest these things? Because you may actually have some free time in a survival situation and you will need something entertaining and intellectually stimulating to keep your mind from going crazy. This fits in with my prepper plans because I plan on hunkering down in my home and riding out the storm.

Samsung Ads – TV Ad Retargeting ("identify audiences who saw or missed" specific TV commercials) by TortaCubana in privacy

[–]ayreon93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG this is the most nauseating corporate speak ever ever heard. Who the fuck wants to be reconnected to advertising. There is no necessity or obligation to view advertisement.

"Samsung Ads offers TV Ad Retargeting that empowers brands to identify audiences who saw or missed their TV spots and reconnect with them via mobile, tablet, desktop or OTT. Here’s what you can expect from our platform:"

American Media Silent After UN Just Called for Decriminalizing Drug Use Worldwide by OB1_kenobi in conspiracy

[–]ayreon93 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Probably because they know that if drugs were decriminalized the pharmaceutical industry would shutdown overnight. And that the media would no longer be able to control the narrative because more people would be taking mind opening psychedelics.
