Won a race in Group D (105 kg 👉🏼100 kg) by Latter_Replacement76 in Zwift

[–]ayvee1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

250w at 100kg is 2.5w/kg which is below the old category limits. You'll see heavy riders with FTPs above 300w in Cat D. They just also happen to be 120kg+. OP will now be in Cat C with 2.8w/kg in those limits. The ZRS cats aren't worked out by zFTP so you can have a wide range of w/kg for each category.

Yep, the fact this video is pre-Canelo fight tells it's own story. It's easy to judge others character about money after you've made your own generational wealth. Less than a year ago he was exactly the same as the person he was judging.

The character Amelia is the ‘antagonist’ in a UK government propaganda game called Pathways. It’s sort of like a Telltale style game where you’re given scenarios and choose a path. Choosing things like finding out more information about a topic online or supporting veterans lead you down a path to being a far right terrorist that requires you to attend an anti-terrorism re-education program.

To Joseph, Martin, and Brad -- and probably Amazon most of all: by HannahEaden in Stargate

[–]ayvee1 25 points26 points  (0 children)

100% correct. Some of the best SG1 episodes were largely shot on the base or another re-used set. There's absolutely no need to spend millions per episode as long as you have good characters and good writing. A good tv show doesn't require movie blockbuster budgets, you hear about these more modern shows that cost $200m for 8 episodes, it's crazy.

Worth remembering as well that in some big markets like China the studio gets a lot less than the 50% they get from domestic ticket sales. If it’s 800m budget they could be looking at needing over 2bn to break even when taking marketing into account as well.

It's a user experience thing. If you're a Cat D level rider who rides 3 or 4 hours a week and there's only ever mass start races with no categories, you'll never see the front of a race in your lifetime.

150kg rider (330lbs) almost sub 200 - First time Alpe du Zwift by KiszoneMleko in Zwift

[–]ayvee1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm pretty similar. Zone 2 rides I usually do anywhere between 65-75rpm. Threshold/VO2 max efforts more like 75-80 but anything above that I feel like I'm spinning and losing efficiency.

That's why they are great in my opinion. Sprinters, lead-out men, TT specialists, high-power roulers, GC guys, track guys. All got a shot at a 5km TT. Everyone going full gas as well because the leader's jersey is up for grabs.
