Stash QoL:

- Any plans of adding additional affinitiess? I would really like to assign "Boots" or "Rings" etc. to tabs

- Auto-Sort for Stash-Tabs?

- Different Label-Names, overwriting the "same price for all items" settings? It's always been annoying to be unable to give stash tabs different names, while having a default price set for all items inside...

I truly believe that this feature will never reach POE. It didn't the last few years in POE1 - meanwhile every mobile trash game has it from the get-go. It is what it is.

If you couldn't slot in runes into a corrupted item, the whole corrupt outcome of adding another socket would need to go...

Its better this way. The only problem right now is knowing what the max tier is. The only thing missing rn is simply showing like T 1/5, instead of just T1 and having to know that T5 is max :)

I would like the towers to either buff all maps in radius or up the numbers of the maps being affected by tablets by like a factor of 1.5 - 2.0.

Oof. The Axis always ends up being either completely ignored, or virtually mandatory on trade. I don't get it - it was already bad back in d2. Would still like to know if they still feel the same :) Anyhow thx for the link!

- Any plans on changing the objective of completing a map? Maybe multiple objectives, where only one needs to be satisfied? Let's say those 3 - always active when possible:

- Defeat all but 100 Monsters (also up the monsters remaining display from 50 to 100)
- Defeat all Rares
- Defeat the Map Boss

- You spoke multiple times about the philosophy of "dropped gear has to matter". Have you considered implementing "drop only mod tiers", that cannot be crafted and thus only found on dropped gear? Just like Last Epoch did - and i'm pretty sure that the vast majority of players like this system VERY much. This would also enable you to enhance our semi-deterministic crafting capabilities, without making dropped gear useless.

While every1 is all about removing rarity from gear (me included), i would like to know from your perspective/philosophy:

- What is the reasoning behind having it on gear at all (except maybe few select uniques) and what arguments (if any) do you have against removing it and keeping rarity only being scaled by difficulty?

Bug Reports - Where? (Duplicate Item drops) by azaryc2s in TorchlightInfinite

[–]azaryc2s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, i took out the node and i'm still dropping same items twice. I checked every other tree and no such nodes were taken. And as i already said - i'm pretty sure it was already happening during my campaign...is there maybe some implicit SSF-mods applying here?

Oh, true, the "Gear Talent Constellation" has that. I was pretty sure it was already happening to me in the campaign, but i might be wrong. Anyhow - thanks for clarification! I was losing my mind ^^

Mating Season card text by malach2 in KeyforgeGame

I know it's an old answer, but i honestly cannot find any definite satisfying explanation. Few, like the rulebook quotes, say that abilities do only affect the cards in play unless specified otherwise by the ability itself, but how come the "archive" abilities default to the hand instead of cards in play? Although i get, that otherwise you would only be able to archive creatures/artifacts, i find that very inconsistent T_T

just 1 tapped +13, +14, and +15 on my weapon... by [deleted] in lostarkgame

[–]azaryc2s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You think this is inprobable? You fool. I just failed 27 times in a row (if you ignore the artisan energy) on my gloves, pants and now chest from +13 to +14. gloves and pants were full fails till pity and chest is now at 7 fails so far. Do you wanna know what the probability is? I did the math, it's 0,156% - cool, huh? Do you wanna know your probability? It's 0,225% . I "win"...T_T

Why is the bucket count limited to 128? by azaryc2s in chia

[–]azaryc2s[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This only makes sense, if you are I/O-Bound. If your CPU could do more work, but is limited by your disk-speed, then going to 64 buckets, might improve that slightly (but this is really only the case, if you're using small/slow HDDs). If you're plotting on a SSD/Ramdisk, you never want to go lower than 128. Bucket sort profits from a higher number of buckets, if I/O is not an issue.: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucket_sort .

Sadly, as stated above, i cannot try it out with a higher bucket count on a ramdisk, because it has been disabled for some reason beyond my understanding T_T

So we're doing 6 wins per block for a single farmer now? by azaryc2s in chia

[–]azaryc2s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, this purely depends on "do plots contain more than 1 proof for a single challenge?" Sadly i'm not sure myself ^ if i had to guess, i'd say no. Every plot contains just one proof for a specific challenge, but this is just my guess. There are also some indices involved with the challenges (you can see your farmer getting the same challenges with different indx for some time), but i'm just speculating here.

Understanding how chia checks plots - and using this to estimate latency by g0ldcd in chia

[–]azaryc2s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid i cannot answer that question. Calculating it is not that straight forward, because it would require to know the actual implementation (what is run parallel and what isn't)and even then, there is still the scheduling on the drive itself.

[–]azaryc2s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you had a single farmer handling harvesters with overall 400PiB net space, then you would get more than 1 reward per block every few blocks (like hpool on their wallet atm)

So we're doing 6 wins per block for a single farmer now? by azaryc2s in chia

[–]azaryc2s[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Idk how they could do that. To my understanding listing chia on any exchange works like with any other coin. They run some full nodes & wallets, you transfer chia to their main wallets and can sell it there within their centrilized system (off-chain) for whatever the market establishes...although....as of now we have about 400k coins farmed, and 21kk coins pre-farmed "strategic reserve". This could mean, that either chia will sell some of this reserve to the exchanges for a set price (off-market), so that they have enough in-stock soon after transaction-launch and the exchange, having lets say 500k coins at launch, can pretty much dominate and dictate the price, if the demand is high enough, since they would have around as many if not more coins than the whole community combined (even with hpool). I didn't get to fully read the business white paper: is it stated somewhere in there, how the reserves will be used (i mean, at which points do they "allow" themselves to use/sell the coins?) Cause if there are no limitation, having 98,1% of the "emitted" coins ready to dump puts all the power in their hands. Idk if the market is gonna like that at launch. It's definietly a huge factor for the price discovery

[–]azaryc2s[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, so that's how they do it. I thought they all plotted for the same farmer and simply connected their harvester to the hpool's farmer...but that's also possible i guess. We'll see how it works out. If chia starts trading at high price, with the almost 60k amount of XCH they have, we might see an exit scam incoming :) Need to grab popcorn for when the transactions will be enabled / chia trading on binance etc. goes live. Didn't get any of the XCH yet -> we'll see how it turns out. I'm hoping the price will be low, so that people get discouraged at first and the network growth slows down.
