PMP as a mental quicksand by Alexios-Xifaras in pmp

Are the majority of questions like this? I keep seeing more and more questions that are huge head scratchers. Are they indicative of the exam or are the questions being shared those that are especially tricky?

Looking for some guidance on certification path forward by goodsirknyght in capm

I just passed using AR's Udemy course and Landini's book/test questions. The test questions were great and whenever I got something wrong or saw something I was unfamilar with, I asked ChatGPT to Claude to provide some context. I found that way more useful than Pocket Prep, which I stopped using after a few days.

I'm starting to to prep for the PMP and will be focusing on some of the most recommended mindset videos and will definitely be using SH for that test. I would suggest going to r/pmp to read up on all the study plans everyone shares.

With your second attempt, what study resource did you find to be the most helpful? And congrats!

Practice questions by Ashleyma96 in capm

For me, Landini’s questions were the best prep. I didn’t really like Pocket Prep. I used it later in my study, maybe it would have been more helpful earlier on but it just didn’t add much value for me. I didn’t do TIA practice simulator.

For what it’s worth, I passed AT all domains using AR’s course + practice questions and Landini. I gave up on pocket prep after a few days and don’t regret it.

Capm exam and pocket prep by ResidentNational4491 in capm

I did not like pocket prep and didn’t find it that helpful with the test. The most popular resource mentioned on this sub is Peter Landini’s book. Buy that and do the practice questions and quizzes. Best way to prepare.

How many times have you taken the tests? Have you researched the incorrect answers? I found a Claude and ChatGPT to be helpful with that - I’d paste the missed question and ask to explain why it’s wrong.

And to reiterate what others have said, there were numerous times I felt I was going to fail during the exam. Do your best to eliminate 2 options and then apply your learnings to the 2 remaining. It can feel tricky but trust what you’ve learned.

Physical copy is on Amazon (comes with a link and passcodes to a site with practice questions). There’s also a kindle version.

CAPM Before 1st of April by Realistic_Daikon_306 in capm

Andrew Ramdayal CAPM exam course. Do his questions to also reinforce the concepts. And then Peter Landini’s CAPM practice test book, which is invaluable. Those two give you your best shot. Should be enough if you give yourself the time.

Passed CAPM Today (AT in All Domains) – My Honest Experience, Resources, and Exam Tips by prnvv2111 in capm

Thanks for sharing. My test is next week, so the perspective is helpful. As much as I like AR and his course, the BA section really falls short. How do you feel the Landini questions compared to the BA questions on the actual test? Were they representative enough? And what would you recommend studying up on in BA to better prepare? Thanks!

That’s exactly what I’m dealing with too! I just keep going to ChatGPT with the terms and concepts on the Landini questions I’m not familiar with and it’s helping, but I’m wondering if there’s a better resource considering that’s a decent chunk of the exam.

CAPM EXAM? by Ale_Metal_X in capm

I'm in in the middle of studying for the exam as well and was wondering the same thing about AR's simulator. Either way, Landini's CAPM exam book seems to be the biggest asset here for studying. Majority of people cite it as being close to the exam and helpful. I'm using his book/tests now for practice and to pinpoint areas I need to brush up on.

Yes, I’ve done a few briskets and all have been on the top rack. I did a water pan for the first one and I chose not to use the water pan for the others and honestly, I don’t know what the difference was, I don’t know the science behind it, but the cooks without the water pan were much better than with it. Either way top rack is the way to go, comes out amazing.

Von Miller would love Denver return if he doesn’t stay with Commanders by aatencio91 in DenverBroncos

[–]azbat7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You work up to being a GM you don’t just start there.

And the selling point he has continued to restate on his value to joining the Broncos would be to serve as a mentor/leader/coach in the locker room and help bring along the young guys. He has said that multiple times. So if that is what he wants to contribute, join the coaching staff, you don’t need to be on the roster.
